i like it a lot but i need more stories
so i love love love the odyssey one, but they dont have iliad yet... i've been messaging them everywhere to add it! so if you see this please add the iliad

I like how it asks questions in the start so we can make an account but whenever I get to the did you know part it won’t let me scroll down or do anything. For this reason I couldn’t get the app started. I’m on an iPad. It’s really infuriating that I can’t continue after that one part.
Waste of money
The entire app is garbage anime that ruins the books and does not support the authors. 0/10 rating.
You can’t read books for free
Downloaded this app because ads made it seem like I could listen to/read ACOTAR content. Unfortunately, I was hit with multiple subscription screens and eventually a paywall with no visible way to close or continue for free. I tried waiting, swiping, reopening the app, and checking for hidden close buttons, but nothing worked. It was really frustrating because I just wanted to try the app before deciding if it was worth paying for. The app may have good content, but the forced paywall experience felt misleading and disappointing.

I want a refund
The stories I tried are not proofread and have grammatical errors throughout.
The stories are also not entertaining, at least that I tried.
The titles even have spelling and grammatical errors.
The selection is terrible.
Some stories aren’t finished.
There’s no way to search specific genres or themes.

Seriously, just pick up a book
Why would I spend $70 just to “quote” books written by different authors. You can get so many books and even audiobooks for free this just is not worth it.
You can’t watch without a subscription
Before you can even try to watch it asks over and over again to pay. To the point when you deny 1 offer it gives you another and another again until you can’t even exit an offer without paying. Before you even get to look at the books they want you to pay. You can’t even preview to see if it’s worth it.

Very few videos actually play and if they do they are brief and the lip syncing is terrible. Wasted $10.

Don’t waste your time or money on this garbage!!! You won’t get your money back and the app is terrible. Apple won’t help and the developer website doesn’t have any support features to contact them.
Not Worth the Money
Great concept, but... Minus the First Star because the selection of books is seriously lacking and Minus the Second Star because if you look away for more than 30 seconds, the audio/video pauses and screen locks. Annoying.
Not as advertised
The advertising videos that I kept receiving included the ACOTAR series and fourth wing series, and after downloadING and paying for the premium subscription, I realize that it did not offer those series.
Literally can’t do anything without paying
I literally can’t even browse content for interest without being asked to subscribe first. So hard pass for me. Asked too many profile questions about my reading plans etc. it automatically added 3 god awful looking “books” to my queue that I couldn’t unselect. Like F off just show me the content and I’ll decide on my own.

Don’t waste your money
This app is horrible. I wanted to sign up for a free trial. I don’t get the option. You couldn’t even try it. So I got stuck wasting $30 for a subscription. When I tried it it’s all garbage. Robot voices and anime. What a waste. Don’t bother with it.
Mislead by an add
I downloaded the app because I got an add that said “I’m going to watch haunting Adeline” I said bet, I read that, downloaded the app. Had to subscribe a weekly fee to see anything, and the hook isn’t even on there. Nor is any of the popular books right now. Completely misleading advertising.
Do not purchase
I downloaded and after 10 mins decided this was not the app I wanted. I cancelled the subscription immediately and now they are trying to charge my debit card every week even after cancellation. That’s stealing. I don’t know how to stop this.
BookTok App
Most is anime not real life AI appearances. The ones that do appear as real life AI do not play when selected!!! Terrible app and no way to contact anyone for assistance! Just subscribed today and not only want it cancelled, I don’t even want the year I purchased!! I do not agree to any funds removed from my account for this very displeasing app!!!

False advertising
They are just going to scam you for your money. The app does nothing that it advertises and makes you pay them money just to find that out. There is no range of book selection and they treat you like you are incapable of reading. I downloaded this because I was interested in seeing some of my favorite books come to life but they are liars

Dose not work
Sucked if the app would work in the books would load it would be amazing, but it don’t
Disappointed
There are several titles that won’t play so it is not worth the subscription I paid. I also was under the impression that the videos would be in line with the books but some are not even close.
