Aesthetic
I genuinely appreciate that they take the aesthetic of the app appeals to you so you can enjoy reading and tracking it. It was the whole reason I wanted to find a good app and I downloaded a few but I like this one :)

Wanted membership to continue
I was about to log m my last chapter I was reading and it kept asking me to do a membership. I got this app so I can track my reading and not pay membership fees.

An excellent book tracker
This is a brilliant app that allows you to track whatever you’re reading, and it also serves the added function of galvanizing you to read. I highly recommended it.
Pay to add books
I was enjoying this app at first, but then when adding my book collection, I was stopped and prompted to PAY to add more than 15 books. If you have a library of more than 15 books, and don’t want to pay similar to a Netflix subscription to use a glorified stopwatch, STAY AWAY.

Awesome app overall – not sure if it’s just me, but I can never seem to import my saved cloud sessions.

A Year Later
This has been the first tracking app I have actually stuck with using consistently every single day! I love seeing the data and being able to easily scroll through my library and keep track of what I have read and what I want to read next.
Some things I’d love to see would be:
-being able to see data comparisons from specific date ranges
-year in review à la Spotify Wrapped to show annual data, number of pages/ time spent in which genres, day with most pages read, day with most sessions, most books read at a time etc.
-ability to download a PDF list of the library and session data

Encouraging
I’ve only been using for two days and I really like it. It motivates/reminds me to put down mindless scrolling and do hit my reading goals for the day.
Pushes premium way too much
Would be an absolute wonderful app if the premium option didn’t prevent you from actually using the add. Legitimately deleting bc after day three it won’t let me update anything unless i get premium option.
truly a wonderful app for anyone with ADHD / focus issues / busy schedules
I’ve struggled for so many years to be an avid reader. It’s something I knew I wanted to accomplish, but didn’t have the focus for. This app single-handedly changed that for me. I could not recommend it enough. How eager I am to read, and the accountability I have now would not be possible without Bookwise. Amazing amazing amazing. :’)

Good app for tracking books — it works well for that. It would be better if more features were free though. I worry that if I stop paying, I might lose my saved books. The free version is still nice for basic tracking, but it’s disappointing that you don’t get book recommendations.
Great app but..
This is a great app and all the features are very useful but basically everything requires paying. You can not add more then 10 books without the premium subscription and everything you try to use a premium feature, it will pop up telling you to pay and if you click the cross, they will say you have a present and when you click on that, it will offer the same thing for cheaper. Overall, this is a great app but if you cannot pay, I recommend not downloading.
