400% renewal price increase! $1.99 to $9.99
The 400% renewal price increase is outrageously high! Went from $1.99 to $9.99 now. This app was okay for me but not perfect. I did not mind the $1.99 renewal fee. Between this app and Google Translate (Free App) I was able to use both together to get a translation. I could not use the voice/audio feature because the language I am translating (Filipino/Tagalog) is not supported. For the amount of money they want now ($9.99 annually) I will “NOT” renew and add my name to there growing list of unsubscribers. There are other apps I can use with Google Translate and achieve the same results. If the developers of this app ever decide to lower the price of this app to a realistic price increase then I might reconsider. 400% is not a fair realistic price increase in my opinion. The 1 star giving by me is a fair rate because of how much they increased the annual renewal fee amount.

Shallow and terrible
Terrible app. Imagine offering a free service with a great premise: you get to double-check your translations, but here’s the catch: NOW YOU ONLY GET 5 FREE ONES A DAY. YOU HAVE TO SUBSCRIBE?! What a terrible decision, app developers. You have lost all my respect and I have deleted this app. I will be spreading the word as well. Having to pay for this service, not to mention monthly, when it was, for one, previously free, and secondly isn’t anything special. Get rid of your ego and greed and actually be a good developer. Disgusting and shallow.

Love this app
This app is very well made. I use it all the time to check translations while emailing other countries or anytime I need a quick translation.
Total App Fail!
It doesn’t work at all. You’ll see English➡️Spanish, you can’t change either language because the app crashes. Even if you try to use it to translate English to Spanish, the app still crashes. It’s supposed to have 100 (I think that many) languages. It’s last update was a year ago. It was listed in the App Store in March 2019 with other translation apps. Did no one check before promoting this piece of junk??? Really disappointing!

usable but could be improved
Pros:
Cool service. I wish i didn't need a separate app to have this service (Google translate web has it but the app doesn't) but alas.
Cons:
・App doesn't remember any of the languages you frequently pick, and the list of languages is looooong. This is ameliorated somewhat by having a search box in language selection, but I'd rather it just remember.
Criticisms:
・The settings menu holds no settings.
・If you visit the "settings" menu, you are greeted by a lovely attempt at guilt tripping for money.

C’est parfait !
i use this application to translate french and anybody that has used other translators knows that french translators are hard to find. this application is perfect. i have used this app to translate professionally and informally. this translator has never given me an incorrect translation. it even corrects your phrase and helps translate. shows you what you said, what it translates to in french and then it translate what it translates to in french. definitely recommend this to anyone that can not find a proper translator. i use this app at least once a day.

Seems really good.
The translations seem very good. As someone learning the language, it would be very helpful if you also provided pinyin like Google Translates does.

Needs a lot of improvement
I was looking for an alternative to google translate. So far looks like no one can beat them. Why would I want to use this app if I have a limited amount of characters I can input, and adds pop up everywhere? If anyone wants o be google then try making an app without adds that’s capable of translating an entire paragraph. Inoltre, non penso sia appropriato che uno sviluppatore di app insulti un consumatore perché si è lamentato del suo prodotto. Apparentemente non è per tutti. Tuttavia, non ho alcun uso e cose migliori da fare con il mio tempo che passare tutto il giorno a passare da un'applicazione all'altra per tradurre la stessa frase 50 milioni di volte.

Thanks for your feedback. Our goal isn't to beat Google. In fact, the translations we provide are powered by Google. Our goal is to provide a convenient way to double-check a Google translation. We do have character limits, but 95% of our customers don't come within 20% of that limit.
So clever in its elegant simplicity
When you need to use Google translate, but don’t totally trust it, you need this. Boomerang automates a series of steps I used to do manually all the time. Translate something and then translate it back to English and so you can confirm that the translation didn’t get mangled in the round trip and is reliable. Highly recommend this very useful tool if you look up translations even just once in a while.

Is it me I’m with bad luck
This app is wonderful, the only thing that happen after IOS 11 update, every time I open the app the iTunes massage pop up asking to enter my iTunes password , and the phone freezes and I can’t do any thing after that .
Please if you thing there is a trick to it then I will remove this review and give you guys 5 stars .
