The best event software

As an event planner, this app saves me so much time at conferences! So happy I found this. The green lead app is great too.

So fast and easy to use!

Recently checked in 800 people for a large event and was amazed at how fast Boomset made the process! We never had a line and it made our job so much easier at the registration desk. Highly recommend!

Great for large-scale events

Boomset has greatly improved the check-in process of our guests. It is quick and simple to create events and upload guest lists. The downloading of guest lists after events is also simple, especially now that the new report builder feature allows you to select what guest information you want to include. Their customer service team has been available to help at a moment's notice. We have up to 10,000 guests at our events, so we couldn't recommend Boomset more.

App freezes

Open app and can't do anything as if it's in frozen mode or something

Does not work

I just downloaded this app sounding exiting and all, but I can't even simply click Create Event. Basically, I can't do anything with the app except waste space.

Best event software I have used

I have been in the event planning industry for 20 + years, and Boomset has the easiest to use system I have experienced. I
The app is so easy to use and it really cut the check in time in half! I love the system and will continue to use. Thanks!

Cannot even start using app

The app says my phone number is invalid no matter what number I try. I can't register an account without a phone number.

Easy to use

I found set up and use easy as pie. Staff were responsive and fast.

Could use more customization of imported fields.

I will use again.

Easy as pie!

We used Boomset for our annual invite-only event, Nerds Rock. We had about 2,000 names on our guest list, with 4 different classifications of guests. Boomset helped us to manage the list and get everybody through the doors of our event. We also used the wristband printing feature, which was really neat!

The fees are hidden and annoying

If you want to use this app for an event with more than 25 people, you'll have to start a chat conversation with their company. Then you need to tell them which features you need so they can give you the mysterious price. For the super basic features, I was told it is $150 for a guest list of 300 and under.
I'm giving three stars because the trial app seamed to work well. I'm taking away stars for the annoyance of having to calculate the costs with their support team and the price itself.

This app is great! I researched apps for 6 days and this is the only one I could find that fit ALL my needs. The support staff is Premium! Love them all! #TeamRachael #TeamCassie #TeamBoomset! all the way!

Frozen App

The new update looked great initially, then all my devices got stuck in a sync loop even though I was still had a strong internet connection. The app as a whole looks great when it works, unfortunately it only works when the stars align. There is a clear disconnect between the developers and the sales team.

Event Manager’s Dream!

Our organization discovered the PERFECT solution to event check-in needs! At our annual youth group event, we used BOOMSET to manage 400+ adults and students for registration and check-in. The application was extremely easy to use, efficient, and reliable. Parents and students raved about the professionalism and speed with which individuals were processed. Our event volunteers loved the simple touch interface on the iPads as well as the clear results BOOMSET provided--allowing the event team to easily see check in status and reporting. BOOMSET's ability to print sharp, customizable name tags added an additional layer of excellence and was seamlessly integrated into our printers. BOOMSET is every event planner's dream!

Easy check-in

Event management is much more easy with this application. Session management & name badge printing is great !!! New customizable kiosk mode is awesome

Love this!

This app is awesome! Checking in my guests was a breeze. They definitely know their customer and understand the needs of event professionals. Customer support was speedy and helpful. I can't wait to plan my next gathering with the help of Boomset.

Events Held Hostage

When I downloaded this app, I was thrilled, it did everything I needed it to do and more. As I continued to add guests to my list, the only real problem I had was the inability to sync with my laptop. Ok, I thought, I'll just work off of my iPad. The real problem came when two weeks before my event, as I continued to add guests, I'm suddenly told that in order to continue to use the app, I need to upgrade to premium. Apparently, I've e exceeded my limit in number of guest. Okay, I thought, I'll pay the fee to upgrade. After all, how much could it be? Well, when I called the number given, I was told that the cost would be $99 per event! My event (an autism benefit) only has 30 registered guests! And they want me to pay $99. The app is not that great. My suggestion? Use "My Banquet".It does most of the same stuff for only $5.

greedy devs looking to make money on your every ticket

if you're a performance producer, you're probably plagued by the per-ticket "at-gunpoint" robbery enforced by venues and their exclusive ticketing contracts. if you want to play in that venue, you have to fork over 10-20% of your ticket price to the doggam ticketing vendor -- pure profit, right out of your pocket.
no doubt that this software is awesome and i'm willing to pay the one-time $100 for the app that was their pricing model, but Boomset has joined the extortionists in trying to charge event producers PER EVENT, making money on me into perpetuity, per event, per seat.
in the words of our dearest bush, sr. "not gonna deh it!"
just say no to extortion from ticketing companies. PASS ON THIS APP.

Creepy marketing plan

I haven't had a chance to use the app yet. And I may use it for an upcoming event. However, the day after I downloaded the app I got a call from Boomset saying "we noticed you haven't used the app yet do you need help?" This is after three emails which I hadn't responded to. Unforgivable violation of privacy.
