Bad music and not as fun as the original. Don’t waste your Dogecoin
Nice new challenges but can’t stand the new music
My friends and I really enjoyed playing the first Boomshine. There was something Zen about making a single decision and seeing how it played out. The chill music was part of the joy and even comforting. If I was in a place where I couldn’t have the volume up, I wouldn’t play. The music was very much part of the game and we all loved it.
When the new version came out I got it right away. I was happy to see new challenges but the music really turned me off and I stopped playing and went back to the original game. BUT just a couple of days later there was an update and new chill music was added. Yay! But alas, the unchill music is still there and there is no option to turn it off. So once again I have stopped playing. I’d love to have the option of choosing the music experience, and maybe evening adding the original Boomshine music too.

Fun but misses the point of the original
Boomshine+ has the right graphics and feel, but it misses the point of the original game. That was to click, see lovely colors accompanied by beautiful intuitive music and -*relax.* the dots are great, but with the quick levels and electronica music, it's just like any other millions of games. I'll play it, but not sure it was worth the $2 without those 2 key features.

Enjoyable, achievable, a worthy update
I loved the original web game and this brings many of the elements I enjoyed most to a low-key, genuinely relaxing and super achievable puzzle game. The animation is flawless, the transitions minimally irritating, the minimalist look deeply satisfying. I do wish the original gameplay sounds and music were included. I don’t enjoy the updated sounds or music at all. So I play silently.
I made it through all the levels in under 24 hours. Awesomely, I’m thrilled to be able to go back and just…start all over again!
