Boondox

Boondox tells you how far you are from civilization. Open the app and get one number: the aerial miles between you and the nearest bit of civilization. That number lands you in one of six zones. Hyper-Wired. You are right in the middle of town. Pavement Bound. You are firmly in the comfort zone. Edge of Town. You are drifting off the grid. Outback Territory. You are genuinely out in the sticks. Deep Boondocks. You are truly out there. The Abyss. You are in ghost territory. Boondox covers the United States and Canada. Anywhere else, it tells you that you are out of coverage. Your location is used only while the app is open. There is no account. Save or share a card of the reading.
