needs improvement
I’ve been paying for this app for three years and i’ve seen it drastically lower its quality. Inaccurate wait times, cameras never working, the quality of the cameras in 2026! you can’t see anything at night much less if it’s a foggy night. Lately this year they’ve had cameras straight up not work for days. Today august 27 one of their cameras has not been working since August 25. (San Ysidro All traffic camera 1 and the camera to check traffic going into mexico) Definitely needs improvement. Won’t be renewing my membership for next year.

Slow, Outdates and Unreliable
I have been using this app for over five years but unfortunately, the service continues to get worse. Videos take a long time to load and refresh, and multiple videos simply do not work. The interface is also extremely slow and feels outdated.
I just paid for another month but seriously considering not renewing my subscription. After being a loyal user for so long it’s disappointing to see the quality and performance continuous to decline. I really hope the developers invest in improving the app’s speed, reliability and overall user experience.

Acabo de pagar mi cuenta “premium” y no sirven 4 cámaras de los puntos que me interesa ver peatonal otay las dos están fuera de servicio por el momento , sentry lo mismo , san Ysidro tampoco osea esto es normal ???

Muy baja calidad de imagen y se actualiza cada media hora, así que no sabes realmente el tiempo de la línea frecuentemente falla demasiado
Inaccurate information
Never accurate when checking estimate time for crossing. App said 1.45 minutes and it could take you up 4hrs or more to cross the border. I have never use this app where the information is accurate. Don’t even bother on buying the yearly subscription.
SCAMMERS
most of the times cameras show old videos and sometimes they dont even work, and of course they are not worried about showing alternative options to fix it while you still paying money for the subscription.

This app has something, just not yet there
It’s the most complete app so far for recurring border crossing passengers. It still lacks, the fluidity of a modern app, and the video quality could be better; as well as increase in camera locations.

Renewing Subscription
Every once in a while I noticed that I had to re-enter my card to re-subscribe when I had my card on file. It’s just annoying when I’m supposed to have an active subscription!!!

Not always accurate
Yeah, I have been using this app for eight years or more, and I can tell you in the last couple of years that has gotten worse in terms of accuracy. Sometimes I use a primarily for Cidro century Lane crossings. I also use it for entering Mexico at San Ysidro border. The times are not always very accurate. It’ll say 23 minutes and yet it’ll be back to Padre Kino all the way to the southern bridge by the general hospital and the soccer stadium. yeah the videos often don’t give a fair representation of what is actually happening. The timestamps are deceiving. Not sure how much longer I’m going to stay a member on this application since it doesn’t seem to be working to point of providing any benefit.

Thanks for your feedback. Over the past year, CBP has been making constant changes to operations at the border, making it even more difficult than normal to estimate wait times. Now more than ever, it’s important to do what we’ve always encouraged users to do – If you’re familiar with the border, always rely on the videos themselves. Our wait times are designed more for tourists and other travelers who can’t determine wait times by viewing the videos.

Yo ya no uso la App ya no vivo en Tijuana, tengo mi tarjeta de Cash App vinculada pero rara vez la uso mi tarjeta, la App no tiene como cancelar la suscripción asi que cada mes intentan cobrarse la mensualidad ya han pasado 6 meses y siguen intentando en pocas palabras no tienen como cancelar y no se cancela sola. Les deje 2 estrellas por que si funciona su App de ahi en fuera lo demas está mal.

La calidad de las camaras ya es absoleta, aparte las camaras estan muy sucias no tienen mantenimiento les urge una actualización de equipos
Cameras should be coupled with map
When your looking at the cameras it’s hard to tell where the actual route is at least for me. The time estimates too cross are close to worthless unless there’s no line 10-30 minutes then it tells u it’s a very short wait overall I’d say just use a free app. The border patrol one is decent enough to decide between San Ysidro or Otay note if you have a passport and are a USA citizen you can go through the ready lane.

You can always email us if you have any questions at all- app@bordertraffic.com. We do have a map with a camera showing where the camera is pointing. Our wait times are as refined as possible and we constantly make changes based on user feedback, they will never be perfect that is why it is important to use both the cameras and times.
Great app
This has been the most accurate and best app for knowing to go to otay or SY, and how long it will take. The last few days it has been saying “it can’t connect to the internet” and I am very sad because it is the best.

Reliable
I’ve had this app for over a year and it never disappoints. I recently had an issue opening the app so I emailed them and I got a prompt reply with suggestions to fix the issue. Turns out it was the connectivity on my phone so I followed their instructions and VOILA! Problem solved. I recommend it if you are an avid border crosser. It will come in very handy!
