I love the app. Easy go register, create account and start listening. I downloaded this app recently after hearing about it through a friend (after discussing my very expensive Audible habit).
Some of my wait times are longish which is ok if you don’t mind swing between other books / series. The reserve / hold function is easy to use.
There is only one function missing which I heavily used in Audible and that’s the listen log function. I routinely drop off to sleep within minutes or am listening and zone out for a couple or skip to a new section or forget to set the timer. Listen log made it far far easier to pon point location in the book would love to see if added in the future!

Missing functionality
Love the library apps, but one simple thing about this app makes it borderline unusable for me:
The back button on headphones takes you back to the start of a chapter. This makes sense on a music app where you want a song to play from the start, but is baffling in an audiobook app. Nobody wants to go back the start of the chapter when they’re hands free.
Please for the love of god, change your back and forward buttons (especially if triggered by headphones) to 15-30 second increments. Look at podcast apps. People use this feature because they got distracted and missed a key bit, not because they just really want to listen to a 25 minute chapter from the start and completely lose their place in the book.
I know feature this is possible because this is how it works in every podcast app on the planet

Nice app but PLEASE give us a bookmark function!
It's a decent app and I love that I can borrow Audiobooks for free with my Library card but for goodness sake please give us a bookmark function. This is a pretty basic function for an app you're listening to audiobooks on, especially one that gives you a sleep time. I like to listen to my audiobooks before bed but I always fall asleep trying to rewind to your place is virtually impossible in this app. Libby manage to do it, Audible managed to do it, surely it can't be that complicated and surely I can't be the only listener who would like to save their place before putting it on a sleep timer! Also when you do a rewind on a car Kit it takes you back to the start of the chapter whereas most other apps will just rewind the same 30 or 15 seconds that is their standard rewind setting from the app. This would greatly improve the accessibility of this app.

Like many people I read on a Kindle. Reading on a tablet does not work in many situations. Lack of support to download a book is a fundamental requirement and this app does not do this.

Perfect to take your iPad on holidays instead of heavy books

I love BorrowBox. It’s very useful and has a wide variety of books. I would give it all the stars but I have to wait for a lot of the books I want and sometimes don’t have all the books from a series. Otherwise great.

Too restrictive, no ability to for a longer term , snd quickly reach the limit if try to borrow again. It’s pretty useless app
