Fan of libraries since forever, but not always possible to go to one. BorrowBox an incredible alternative, especially with access to daily newspapers and magazines. Perfect for waiting rooms and tram trips!

Inept system. When I clicked “forgotten my password “ it simply took me to a lengthy list of topics on North Yorkshire local government website, none of which related to BorrowBox

Good app for audiobook navigation, but one can only access it with one library card at a time.

Great service but I would like more choices of ebooks, hopefully this will come with time.

Wonderful Service!
For me, it’s the audio books that I really enjoy. Heath reasons can make it difficult to read print, so being able to borrow the audiobooks is so helpful. To date I have listened to a number of interesting autobiographies, and the great thing is that BorrowBox provides them free of charge.

BorrowBox is one of the best apps you could get for teaching your kids how to read with eaudio to ebooks to ones you can loan and return and renew them
One day I was looking at all my apps and saw this I went on and checked it and before you can say OMG I was reading for 2 whole hours until I found I was asleep (lol)

Loving BorrowBox
It’s great to be able to listen to so many wonderful audiobooks on BorrowBox through my Library. This is an amazing service and I really appreciate it. It would be good if BorrowBox could make some suggestions for me based on the books I have listened to already. I would like more of the emerging Australian authors books available in the audiobooks.

I make use of this facility regularly and congratulate BorrowBox for their excellent service. Very many excellent audio books available (although some more Terry Pratchett would be welcomed from Suffolk Libraries). Well done BorrowBox.

Limited choices
There is a very limited choice of books, very good when you first join, but after a while one is limited in choice
Great app
This app is great. I like how it can be used without wifi. One problem that happens to me is that when I want another book and I’m offline, it doesn’t let me because it says I need wifi. If this app lets you listen offline then how come it doesn’t let you download it offline????
I’d love a CarPlay app for audiobooks
BorrowBox is a great app. The one feature that I really would love is a CarPlay app though. I use it to listen to audiobooks whilst driving but having to start the playback from my phone means that I can’t use it unless I start it before setting off.
Please add 0.05x playback speed steps
I love this app and would use it even more if the playback speed had finer adjustments. Right now, the speed only changes in 0.25x increments. That works for some audiobooks, but not most, at least for me.
I often find that 1.05x, 1.1x, or sometimes 1.15x is the sweet spot. Usually, 1.0x feels a bit too slow, while 1.25x is just a little too fast. Smaller speed increments would make a huge difference!

Imagination Feast
I love audiobooks, especially if i am enjoying the narration, character changes and tones. Listening to audiobooks transports me to my youth before television, when I couldn’t wait to listen to radio series stories, every evening before bed. Thank you for this platform.
