Another great library service
As with so many functions and services of a library, this is great. It can’t have every single item you want, but the sheer volume of content available is great, particularly if you like a magazine too. Not been disappointed yet.
I love Borrow Box
Borrow Box has changed my life and opened my world to all the things I wanted to read and learn about.
Being quite dyslexic, reading especially small print has always been a challenge.
Borrow Box is absolutely wonderful and it’s free .
It’s the best thing about mobile devices too,
as now I can listen to story’s anywhere .

Fantastic App
I mainly use this app for listening to audiobooks and absolutely love this app. I have recommended this app to friends, family and clients as you’re able to access a whole range of free books and audiobooks just like a library but at your fingertips. I used to love reading books but with the hectic nature of life I do not get the opportunity to as I once did. This app enables me to listen and escape into the world that an author has created whilst on the go whether in the car whilst driving, completing household tasks, shopping, in bed (it has a shut off timer) or on a plane.

Should have more funny kid audiobooks
Should have more audiobooks on funny kid cause they are really popular and amazing.
Phone-centric
The app works well on a phone. The Apple Watch app isn’t as useful as it could be: it focuses on finding books, not on playback of audiobooks. The lack of a CarPlay app is the biggest disadvantage.

Disappointed can only use one library at a time
Feel like I am not getting the best use out of BorrowBox as can only use one library at a time whilst other products like Libby allow you to use multiple libraries at the same time thus have greater choice of collection.
Update: In response to developer response: If I was able to sign into borrowbox with two different library cards at the same time like I can with libby I would be able to benefit from the borrowbox collection of two different libraries instead of having to sign into one library have the book not be available have to sign out and the sign in to second library to find the book. Your solution requires me to continuously sign in or out or go to the effort to make a purchase recommendation and the wait weeks to see if purchase recommendation is accepted then I might get the book. Libby lets me sign in with both cards see what’s available at multiple libraries at once hassle free.

Hi there, thank you for your review! Your library authority has their own individual BorrowBox collection, which they select from our extensive catalogue of titles. I would recommend contacting your library to let them know that there is a title you would like to see added to BorrowBox.
It’s great but some things that can be changed.😊
I love how you can read books and stuff but there is one thing that I think should be changed and what I am talking about is that the limit of how many books you can cancel or return like literally why is there a limit for that!cause that made me have to wait a whole day just so I can return on book and I hate it so please just cancel the limit of returning books thank you.😁😁😁

I like reading and listening to the story but I wish I could take a book and make it into an audio book.
Just ok
Not bad, not great. Clunky. Would be nice to have a sleep timer that doesn’t fade out so low that it ruins the end of any chapter.
The Library an arms stretch away
How wonderful to have the facilities of our local library without leaving the house. Since I discovered this, I have never been without an audio book on the go.
A Good app that needs minor improvements
BorrowBox is a mostly well thought out app that needs some minor improvements remove a few irritations.
In order of the most frustrating to the least.
No named chapters in Audiobooks, just numbers with the book title constantly repeated.
No bookmarks, which would help when things get out of sync between devices.
The search function involves, clicking on the search box, then select the type of media, then return to the search box.
‘available’ filter button only available the search all categories section, it should be on every section.
No car play version available

Great place for Audiobooks
Great selection of audiobooks that are free to borrow. The app is very easy to use and download the books.

Great audiobooks Harry Potter are $60 to buy but are free on borrow box great for the budget
