Poor functionality
Can’t change your email address, not able to access any real relevant information, highly limited functionality. For the product prices surprisingly poor technology here. Perhaps other platforms (Karden) would be better?
Very Finicky
App does not consistently connect to “supported” devices. Sometimes uninstalling and reinstalling helps, but it’s extremely frustrating for such a high end speaker product. Stereo and party modes for multiple speakers require even more effort and rarely work properly. My friends are connecting their JBL, HK and even freebie speakers, and laughing as I’m struggling with my Bose speakers and this app. Not a great look Bose, do better.

とにかくデバイスへの接続(特に2台接続でのパーティー/ステレオモード使用)のUIがゴミ。
まずスピーカー電源ONにて自動で接続されてるにも関わらず、アプリ起動で接続を認識できず、接続ボタン押下の画面が出る。
認識できた後も、2台接続の動作でクラッシュする確率が高く、音楽再生にいきつくまで1,2分かかる。
2台接続の設定を毎回電源つけるたびに0からやり直しさせるのもいけてないし、止めてると20分で勝手に電源offしてステレオモードごとリセットされるのもストレスポイント。(電源オフ設定もアプリにあるが反映されない) 数万のスピーカーを二台揃えた手前、仕方なく使ってるが、改善の兆しもないので本当にどうにかして欲しい。

Absolutely a failure of an app if you want to connect two Pro S1 speakers via Bluetooth… multiple attempts will finally succeed. I’d expect more from Bose. Seemingly the app has not improved since I acquired the speakers in 2021. (It’s 2026 now). Two stars, because the speakers are great . Please improve for this particular issue: two speakers on Bluetooth

App raises privacy, and therefore, security concerns
App leaves a bit to be desired.

>There is no logical reason, other than Exploitation Of Our Data and Breach Of our Privacy (which raises Security Concerns), that Bose would be need our Identity, our Identifiers, or our Contact Info to use this app. Since we can't use the speakers without the app, I cannot recommend Bose Bluetooth speakers. Which is sad because Bose makes decent speakers. That cost them a star.

Can’t connect to devices anymore
This was good, but the app doesn’t even work anymore. The most frustrating thing is that I can no longer connect both of my Bose speakers

I love the app! I can finally turn off the voice prompts. It was so embarrassing when I couldn’t control that before. I also love that I can see the charge level on the battery.
