Tries to make u download Alexa
Got a new phone and used the app to connect headphones. It gives error messages saying it won’t work without downloading Alexa. Quit the app, but the headphones worked anyway. Be careful, it’s dodgy

Will not connect to internet or bluetooth
Bose is the worst manufacturer. My internet speaker stopped working because Bose stopped the service which meant I could not use the product at all - that was a soundtouch. Now my micro speaker does not work because the app can’t connect to internet because it says the server doesn’t exist. This company is a waste of time and money. I paid a lot of money because I thought Bose provided the best products. I have now found out that they want me to buy new products because they have disabled my existing products. i was offered new products at a reduced price instead. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS

Wonderful!
Bose Connect is wonderful!! Very user friendly, easy and simple! My wife and I love the sound system and its mobility. We enjoy using it in our backyard ! Beautiful clean and clear music out of the speaker .
Poor user experience
Bose makes it difficult to connect to multiple Bluetooth devices. It would be helpful if, on opening the app, the Connections screen pops up immediately so users can choose which Bluetooth device they want to connect to.
Instead, my headphones connect to devices that aren’t turned on. When I open the app I get prompted to a screen wherei have to slide my finger to connect to my phone. If I want to connect to anything other than my phone, which is usually the case, there’s no direct way, not even a menu option, to access the Connections screen.
Not having an option to choose which device I want to connect to is so frustrating and a waste of time

Bose not so “high end” anymore
I’m so over Bose. Seriously. I have 2 revolve + speakers and you need this BS app to have both working at same time for good sound It rarely ever works. More recently everytime I use it I have to “forget “ the Bluetooth connections on kynohnnevandbrenstallbbith speakers for it to “maybe work without great hassle and effort. Don’t even get me started on the issues I’ve had with their headphones and earbuds. Bose i think are on their way out. Of being considered a high end product to being. An average to low end product. But at high end pricing

Poor functionality
Can’t change your email address, not able to access any real relevant information, highly limited functionality. For the product prices surprisingly poor technology here. Perhaps other platforms (Karden) would be better?
Very Finicky
App does not consistently connect to “supported” devices. Sometimes uninstalling and reinstalling helps, but it’s extremely frustrating for such a high end speaker product. Stereo and party modes for multiple speakers require even more effort and rarely work properly. My friends are connecting their JBL, HK and even freebie speakers, and laughing as I’m struggling with my Bose speakers and this app. Not a great look Bose, do better.
