Such a great tool for when I run in-person games. I have new players and introduce new roles often so having the prompts written out for what I need players to do instead of just using hand signals (or constantly writing notes on my phone) is a life saver. Haven’t seen an update since I’ve downloaded this last year and it would be amazing to see one that added and updated characters. Thank you for making this great tool!

Great as a supplementary tool
I use this when I run in person games without the physical box, using Clocktower.online on my laptop. Being able to show character tokens, text, bluffs, etc from my phone makes the process a lot more seamless.
Great as an assist tool
The app is very useful as a helper tool but it certainly cant be used without the game. Sometimes we arent in a perfect circle and its tough to show the players everything. Its nice to show them a large screen that says “this is your demon” or other game info thats tough to present while holding tokens and the grimoire. I hope one day it can have a layout of the players to show their roles and where they’re seated

What exact purpose does this fill?
The app is well made and mostly intuitive, but I can’t figure out when I would use it. It would be great if it replaced my need to walk around the circle with the grimoire, but it doesn’t let you track status effects like poison or protection, and doesn’t let you assign roles to players. It would be great if 1) I could keep notes during the night so I do t have to remember what had happened, and b) I could use it as a reference for who are what characters, what status effects they have, etc.
It still wouldn’t (and shouldn’t) replace the grimoire, but it would actually be useful in running the night phase and nominations/executions.
