Overview Bottlle is an indie social network—built independently and designed as an alternative to the mainstream. Social networking has drifted off course. Opportunities to create something more balanced, more human, and more meaningful have been overlooked. Like indie music or film, the most interesting ideas don’t start with large corporations, boardrooms, or big budgets. We’re building something different. Social networking should give you more control, let you choose who sees what, and make the experience fun. Here’s what some of that looks like in practice: - Your friends don’t need the app — Invite them to receive your updates directly. - Share intentionally — Every post goes only to the people you choose, creating a more personal and authentic experience. - No public wall — Your posts aren’t stacked into a profile for others to dig through. - No algorithmic feed — Your experience is controlled by you, not optimized for scrolling. - Social networking should be fun — Explore new ways to share, with more features (and a few surprises) coming over time.
