Very very cool app. Suddenly makes my spray wall very fun. Highly recommend to anyone who has a spray wall and doesn’t know how to set routes.

Poor execution

No matter the configuration, all climbs start with the same three holds despite a wall full of holds. The algorithm is broken. I have to manually set lines to get anything but three holds in the center as starts. The scale is also wildly wrong. An accurate size of the wall makes the span completely out of range despite setting the shortest setting. I have to say the wall is double the size to get climbs that can be done. I regret spending the $8 and all the time spent setting this up to have a broken alpha. Great concept, really excited about it, but completely broken.

It sounds like there is something interfering with the correct functionality of the algorithm, could you send me a mail at contact@boulderbot.io or DM me on Instagram @boulderbot with more information like a screenshot of the "Wall Edit" screen? I will take a look and investigate why the generation is wildly off in your case, the extreme scale difference and reuse of the same center holds might be a symptom of an incorrect read of the image perspective.

Very cool app!

Luca, have you considered licensing your code to the Kilter, Moon, Tension, or other standardized climbing wall apps? I think having auto generation of climbs could be a cool feature to add to these apps!

Completely revolutionised my home wall and local gym spray wall

Love this app. Sets brilliant routes and has breathed new life into both the spray walls I use regularly. I was never very good at setting routes for myself so this is amazing.
