About

Boulodrome is the perfect companion for your pétanque games: measure the distance to the jack in an instant, track points end by end, and organize tournaments with friends. PRECISE MEASUREMENT, SEVERAL METHODS Pick the method that suits you: • Augmented reality (LiDAR): place your boules and the jack in 3D during a live AR session, for the best precision on iPhone Pro and iPad Pro. • Top-down view: simply hold your phone flat above the court, the photo is captured automatically, then tap the boules and the jack yourself on the image. • Manual photo measurement: take a photo and tap each boule and the jack yourself for a precise result. • Assisted detection (experimental): the app tries to spot the boules and the jack on your photo using an AI model that is still learning — a helping hand to double-check before you confirm the score. SCORE END BY END Follow a 1 vs 1 game from start to finish: record each end, award points to the winning team, and see the running score in real time until victory. MULTI-TEAM TOURNAMENTS Run a full tournament: create head-to-head, doubles, or triples teams, automatically generate pools, follow the standings, then move to a knockout bracket generated for you. HISTORY AND iCloud SYNC All your finished games and tournaments stay in your history, synced across your devices via iCloud if you choose to. Simple, fast, and built for the court: Boulodrome is with you from a casual Sunday game to your club tournament.

26.3

This update levels up shared tournaments and adds everyday comfort improvements! Major features: - Live tournament sharing via iCloud. An invited participant can join a shared tournament, advance phases, and leave the tournament; shared tournaments are listed under Settings > iCloud. Several stability fixes: share links that opened nothing, a blank screen on first launch, a "Copy Link" button that silently did nothing. - Multiple games/tournaments in progress at once. The Home screen has been restructured accordingly. - CSV export, now also available for single games, not just tournaments. - Per-item cache management (browse and delete photos one by one). - Energy-saving mode: screen dimming, with an option to also reduce brightness during a game. Bug fixes: - Recent player names that were wiped after reinstalling the app — fixed. - FANNY now shown correctly instead of "Lost" when the losing team scored zero points. - Larger tap area for the close button on the 3 photo measurement screens. Other improvements: Shuffle button and shake gesture to randomize teams, mid-game target score editing, target score selection changes in tournament games, victory screen replayable by shaking the phone, "Tournament Winner" display with the date, screen brightness automatically boosted while the share QR code is shown, app name adapted for Arabic, Japanese, and Chinese, relative dates now showing the year, team and venue names that wrap instead of being truncated in history.
