Trust but verify
I host on Turo, and the scariest part of this business is not the mileage or the late return. It is handing the keys to someone you have never met and trusting that they are who they say they are. Turo’s in-app verification is a good start, but at pickup you are still looking at a piece of plastic and a face. That 10-second glance is where things go wrong — and if the license check is sloppy, your protection plan can be the thing that suffers. Bouncr is the first ID app I have used that actually treats that moment like risk management, not just age-checking at a bar door.
