Why bother paying for ad-free

Paid to be ad-free so younger kids could play on it without clicking random ads and links. Ads are still playing even though I paid to be ad-free and the menu says “ads disabled”. There’s nothing you can click to change or “reset” the settings. Even trying to click “restore purchases” doesn’t do anything. DON’T waste your money purchasing to be “ad-free”, you’re still inundated with ads 🙄

Was just fun. Now just annoying ads

This used to be a fun diversion trying to clear the board with the fewest bounces. Now with the latest update, I see ads after every 2 boards - VERY annoying. No longer enjoying the game. Also, I don't see the coins as adding anything significant to the game. Will be deleting the app

Used To Be 2D Physics Fun Eternal

If you like to smash and break things for relaxation, this used to be great. It was a game tat was light fun that went on forever. It was nicely updated to add coins that allowed the users to change to new characters, the last of which provided maximum bouncing, although removing its free will. But with the coins cane ADs. I don’t mind mild ads as a way to make the developer money, nor mind the provided option to watch ads for coins. But what we got is abusive, with ads cutting off our game play, forcing users to double dismiss the same ad (a horrifying abuse IMHO), and long ads that I inspire the user to QUIT the game to spare their patience, then boot it again to get back to play. That’s idiotic to the point of my tossing the game off my iPhone. Sad.

Hi Derek, sad to hear such feedback, but I understand your point and I want to make the game better. I see, that you're using version 1.3.15 - today we've published a newer 1.4.1 version of the game, there were added 6 new characters, some new features and interstitial ads showing frequency was lowered. As for ads "forcing users to double dismiss the same ad" - I can't control which exact ad will be shown and some advertisers are playing dirty, but I don't see a way to solve this on my side. Just don't install games they're advertising, I hope this'll hurt their plans. The last thing - players can disable ads by one-time small purchase, if you'd like to support the game and play without ads, you can do so. If not, there is a promo-code letting you get "No ads" purchase for free 349FHXYMYJ4H.

Too many ads and sound

very upset i updated. now an ad pops up after every 2-4 rounds. i also disabled sounds and the ad still has sound even though i muted it. this is really annoying especially when playing in waiting rooms of doctors office. The ads are longer than game play. WILL BE DELETING THIS GAME. I HAD BEEN ENJOYING IT UP TO NOW.

Wow what happened?

I logged in today and yes, new interface (coins?) but had lost all my previous points. Plus, no it’s not really free if you don’t want the new intrusion of ads.

Loved this simple, fun little pastime. Now, I am pretty disappointed. Plus, did I mention? All my points gone 😭.

I take back what I said. Now that I’ve gotten more used to this new version, I love it!!!!

The physics are more fun and realistic, and honestly, it is a delight. Sorry for my poor first response. I am changing this to FIVE STARS. Love it!

Another update: had a glitch going on and the tech support has been *very* responsive. I even decided to forgo the free version, because these folks deserve to be reimbursed for this game. Five stars, plus..

If the promo code worked, then there should be no ads at all. Try to "restore purchase" - there is a button in the settings window, it's a safe and free operation. If this will not help, then I'm afraid there is nothing else I can do. I'm really sorry to ruin your game experience, but we're forced to show ads, as there is no other way to make the game profitable (we can't develop it completely for free and "paid" model did not work).

Stopped vibrating

I love this simple game. It gives such visceral pleasure smashing things - that is until the vibrations stopped working. Now it doesn’t have that great reward after smashing things. Don’t know why it stopped working. Now the fun is gone.

If so, also check if your device Settings -> Accessibility -> Touch -> Vibration is enabled. If everything looks enabled, but vibration is still not working, please reach me at support@anvil-games.com.

Not Happy

I absolutely love this game and spend a lot of time playing on it. When I first downloaded it i paid for it. Now it is free. That’s not the issue though... I now get adverts. To disable these adverts I am expected to pay 79p. But I already paid for the game so this is not fair and ruins the experience. Unless this is changed I guess I’ll just have to choose another favourite game. Very disappointed.

Just fun

By far, the best time waster game in App Store. Now, that’s a good thing. Sometimes you just want to play a game that’s fun and easy and this is that game. I’m 56 and I love this game.

Super fun!

Fun block breaking game for all ages! Does not frustrate you the way angry flyer games do because the mechanics are very simple! As a challenge try playing WITHOUT the new "down rush" button to test your catapult skills! Highly recommended as a waiting room time killer! 5 stars!

Love this game

You live forever. No ads. You just keep going. One thing I didn’t like was that I couldn’t change my character. I deleted the game just to get a new character.

Relaxing fun

I love this game. It’s pretty easy. The challenge doesn’t really ramp up much. It doesn’t keep score. It’s just relaxing fun when you’ve got a minute to play. No ads. No badgering to buy upgrades. No difficult levels trying to make you pay for upgrades. Simple and delightful. Nicely done!

Fun, but I wish there was more challenges

I’m confused. I’m already on level 400 and the challenges just keep repeating themselves. The block patterns don’t change, nor do I see an options wheel for any menus for the game. I have an iPhone 7+ on iOS 12. It’s just the same few block challenges over & over again? It’s fun, but I’m not really sure of the point of continuing to play.

Hi, thanks for the feedback, it's 100% understandable. Current version of the game is kind of "proof of concept", to check the core idea of the gameplay. The fact that you have passed 400 levels even with a limited set of levels makes us believe that idea works and now we are making new content: new characters, new levels, new types of bricks (glass, concrete etc) and different types of obstacles and modifiers.
