No instructions

I opened this app, all it said was “Play”. No instructions. Not in the settings, nowhere to ask questions, nothing. Keep the ball in the box? Are you kidding? The ball just drifted right out of the box to the side of the screen, no matter if I moved or tapped the phone, the box- whatever. I don’t get the point of having a game without instructions and the only conclusion it gives you is to quit or play.
