Superb

I loved this game as a kid on my Speccy & it’s great to see it back.

Original was hard as nails. This new version is even harder because the controls are analogue.

Is that better? Probably not. Is it playable? No, not really. Is it working well with the latest version on iOS? Audio, audio, no.

Okay, fine new players will struggle. How about veterans of the original. Will vets get this? Ha! Doubtful. Hold your finger on the controls and the sensitivity will have Bounder just sliding off the platforms while you have no idea that your finger position is causing that to happen. Zero dead zones. Remove your finger from the screen then. Fine. Try to move again? Ha, with the fixed joystick position, the moment you put your finger back on the screen, Blunder just travels “somewhere” and you can just funds it the hard way where he ends up.

Then the boxing glove comes in. Punch. The game freezes up and progress is halted.

It’s a terrible port.

But yeah, whatever. The original Bounder was hard and difficult to control. Have fun. If you can.

Update for 2025:

This is not really an update, but more a plea to Atatio. You have a few exciting projects on the go. Please make some moves, e.g proper controller support. Game dev is not easy, but time passes fast.

Fix this and show us some progress in other projects. E.g. Actua Soccer is a rare gem from the past, I hope you’re progressing well. Fighting Inferno. Bring it back.

I LOVE this!

Just WOW.

Unplayable

Way to go putting the D pad right over where you need to be able to see the ball....but even if it’s not in the way, this is the hardest game to control. Takes away all the enjoyment.
