About

Bowler's Palace is a scorekeeper for people who actually bowl. Choose Simple scoring to tap a pin count, or Standard scoring to mark the pins you knocked down. The app handles strikes, spares, and the tenth frame, so the running total is right without you doing the arithmetic. It works with no signal at all — bowling centres are famously bad for reception, and nothing about scoring a game should depend on a bar of service. SCORE Tap a count in Simple mode, or tap the pins you knocked down in Standard mode. Strike and spare buttons make scoring quick. Invert the selection when it's quicker to mark what fell. Undo any roll. Add a note to a game while it's still fresh in your mind. SESSIONS Group games into practice, league night, or a tournament. Name a session, record where you bowled, and see the average and high game for that outing. STATISTICS Average, high game, strike percentage, spare percentage, clean game percentage, and average pins per frame — over 7 days, 30 days, 3 months, year to date, or everything you've ever recorded. Filter by session type to find out whether your league numbers really do differ from practice. A score trend chart plots your recent games against a moving average. ARSENAL Keep your equipment where you can see it: weight, coverstock, core, surface grit, and your own notes on what each ball actually does. Mark one as your primary. Per-ball performance shows how many games you've thrown with it, your average, and your high game. BAG PLANS Work out which balls go in which bag before a tournament, so you're not deciding it in the car park. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Everything is stored on your device first and works completely offline. Sign in with email, Apple, or Google and your history syncs so a new phone picks up where the old one left off. You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app, in one step, whenever you want. No ads. No in-app purchases. No tracking across other apps.

What's New in Bowler's Palace

1.1.2

Fix a frame you scored wrong. Tap any recorded frame, re-enter it with pins or counts, and save — your running totals and stats update with it. Cancel leaves the frame alone. Scoring picks up where you left off. If the app closes mid-game, reopening returns you to the game you were scoring. The scoring screen opens zoomed out, so the whole rack and the buttons fit without scrolling. You can now change ball from the scoring screen, and add a ball there if your arsenal is empty. New bowlers are asked once for their name, bowling hand, and whether they prefer marking pins or entering counts. Stats gained filters for league or tournament, center, and ball, plus three-game series average and high series. Picking a filter with no games no longer hides the filters.
