Overall it is a great app, but there are many limitations for if you want a free version. Many features are locked behind paywalls.

Good, but not free.

Most of the options aren’t free, but the two that are available are still solid, as one shows the player’s season stats and the other highlights their most recent game, giving a clear and effective comparison between overall consistency and current performance.

Only 2 of the 9-10 options are free and 1 of them isn’t even “ your favorite player” it’s just when the next game that day happens. Not worth installing. My suggestion is: Make them all free but add extra special ones to pay for.
