What for this app needs internet?!
The app need LAN or WiFi connection to internet to activate the microphones. What for? After the mics turned on and connected to app you can turn the internet off and they are go on working.
Requires solid internet connection
Functioned as expected until I tried to record and interview in a National Park and could not use the microphones because the app requires an internet connection. I later tested and saw its streaming data to their servers. So recordings are not private. And could very likely be by Chinese intelligence.

Mic and connection
I bought this for making vids on yt and I got the wrong port for my phone (16e). Then I bought the usb c and it works but now I am not sure how to pair the other two that I have with the usb c. So now I have 1 working mic for my 16e and 2 others that I can’t use. Also the app doesn’t connect

No privacy
I am returning the Boya 2 mini. After reading the privacy policy and terms of use, I found that there is no way to adjust the cookie preferences without losing the functionality that I paid for. Furthermore, it was abundantly clear that they would share my personal info to all of their 2nd and 3rd party partners and affiliates. No thanks.
