Disappointed

I’m disappointed that I spent $4.99 on this app that says grade 2 braille is an option. It is not. Grade 2 braille is contacted braille. Both grades within the app are uncontracted. This is not helpful for me. Do you issue refunds?

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback and sorry you feel disappointed. I don’t have the ability to issue a refund myself, but you can definitely get a refund through the official way via the App Store process. Please look it up and follow the steps. Thanks!

Mirror Image!!

Great app super simple and user friendly. One request. In order to actually communicate with a sight impaired individual. It would be helpful, for learners who do not have a Braille printer, to see their work in mirror image that can be used with a slate to print out the message for a sight impaired individual.

Best Braille app ever!

Easy to use, and perfect for writing Braille messages! Couldn’t ask for anything better!

Android

PLEASE make this for Android. I would buy it in a heartbeat and it is highly requested. Pleassssseee!

Contracted Braille not fully contracted

The idea for the app is wonderful. If you plan to use it for contracted braille (grade 2), you need to know that it does full word contractions, like the th sign for the, and 12356 for of, but it doesn't do partial word contractions, like ing or en. Having only some of the contractions makes this fairly useless for contracted braille.

Do you really know braille?

I love to send Braille

I really enjoy sending Braille to my friends and family through text message and other means using this app. However, I am studying to be a transcriptionist and I find it extremely frustrating that there is no way to do contracted braille on my messages. A way to change the keyboard to a six key method would be extremely helpful.

Braille Writer

Very fun if you want to learn Braille

Not complete.

The grade two feature does not work well at all.

Conjunctions

You are missing the conjunctions in English such as “and”

Suggestion

would be cool to have this for andoird

The app is worth every dollar - simple and extremely functional!

5+

Very basic

Does not use UEB so pretty pointless for me unless you are a beginner and then you could use free apps.

Should get a negative rating

Does not support even simple grade two contractions. Does not support simple symbols. I typed in the and for of and with using the grade two setting and the words were spelled out. I also tried the + sign and the app wouldn't even support the input. Wasted money.

Braille keyboard, PDF/RTF

Hi. Kak vashi dila?

Nice app, but unfortunately, I do not know how to get the Braille keyboard option to type with in-app, nor do I know how to export to PDF/RTF.

If you would kindly inform me how, it'd (the app) be worth five stars. I teach English, ASL, and Braille, so such is quite necessary for my work.

Thank you! Спасибо!

*In order to get the option to type in Braille, one must tap in the top half of the page (the top half of the text box where the Braille appears), then the Braille keyboard option will appear in the lower right-hand corner of the QWRTY keyboard.

As for PDF/RTF, Apple Notes supports it, I was able to find out, but please add the things in the description. Nonetheless, I was able to find out without waiting a long time, less than ten - twenty minutes of app usage. If not in the description of the app, perhaps add such to the "Help" option in the app itself about how to use the Braille keyboard. I hope this app is successful for you. The money is worth it. If in a future update, add Hebrew and/or Russian Braille keyboards? Again, thank you! !תודה Спасибо! May you be blessed.

Highly disappointed

This is not helpful at all especially for learners. Highly disappointed.

Like but

Needs to answer in contraction when it applies because that's what I want need. I like the way it writes. Nice

Good Braille Translator!!

I really like this app! The only Con that I have is that it doesn't capitalize names and first sentences. I needs that. Thanks.

On the map

I love this app it's really amazing
