The name change is weird.
I like the extra levels of difficulty.
I am NOT happy that the new update set my high score to zero.

Nice game, but video/sound ads
It's a nice game, but displays ads between sessions. Which is fine, except that some of them are video ads with sound - never mind that I set the game audio to mute. Mute means mute. I can't tolerate sound while I'm fiddling around quietly.
Awful update
I never write reviews but with this latest update, I needed to say something. I have been playing dots for almost 3 years now and this update ruined the game. Not only are the ads are overly intrusive, they play the volume on video ads even after you select no sounds, and for some reason the blue dots are larger than all the other dots.
The original game never properly updated high scores, fine no big deal, but once they made it hard to play the game then I felt like I had to say something. For now, I'm done playing, you lost a player, fix your issues.
