Great practice!
I studied Spanish off and on since high school and this is a great way for me to put all of that knowledge together and to recall the vocabulary. I love the Peliculas.
BP—Great Practice for an Old Spanish Major
I am an ESL teacher who majored in Spanish 40 years ago and I need to use it or lose it. The best way to acquire language is not to study it directly but rather to use it as means to learn about a content area. These topics are fun and I always learn a something in every video, including how to explain content to students. Our brains are poor at remembering facts but amazingly efficient at retaining (BrainPop style) imagery. It makes the Spanish incredibly understandable. The App format is easy to use—I would only suggest that you offer a an additional slower speed. Love what you have done for my students and me over the years—THANK YOU!!!

Cada vez que voy a la escuela me veo una película BrainPOP mientras desayuno. De manera que estoy listo para aprender en el colegio, un hábito que cree sin darme cuenta. A los 9 ya sabía como era la función de pi, como conseguir el volumen de una esfera, y aprendí un poco de la raíz cuadrada.

I have tried BrainPopJr, Brainpop, Brainpop película del día, and they are all fantastic. We use them as fun brain breaks throughout our school day. The kids love it. My husband and I are always impressed with how informative the short fun videos are. The Kiddos are learning so much!

Good for intermediate Spanish learners
Great way to add a little Spanish to my day as I continue to learn. Characters speak at a good speed for learning. Video topics and vocabulary are diverse and interesting. I wish there was a way to "pause" the video to use a dictionary for new words.
