Great app but…
Great app , easy to learn because of the exercise and the pictures they offer but English isn’t my first language and if more languages like French were available it would be so much better and would definitely deserve a 5 star rating!!

I have been using Brainy for a few weeks now, and I must say it's a very useful app for students. As a graduate student, I study a lot from my professor's notes, which are way too much for me. So, I simply upload the notes, and then I get flashcards for my notes (the best feature in the app). Additionally, I can create my knowledge base for my entire course. The newly added YouTube function is pretty amazing too!

Great assistant
I love this product. It helps me a lot in my college classes. Saves tonne of my time from manual note taking. It is now super easy to refresh everything at exam time in a short time (from notes). I recommend you try it out.
Also, this app doesn’t share my data with other users or advertisers. Privacy matters to me and hence I like this app even more.

Super easy and a versatile app. I’ll share my unique usecases:
1. Letter/Notice summary: I’m a busy professional who doesn’t have much time to read through lengthy letters or notices received from companies. So I uploaded them to brainy and within few seconds, I was able to ask brainy to summarize it and what’s the action requested from the reader. It gave correct answers including due by dates. Super cool!
2. YouTube videos: I usually don’t have the time to watch lengthy YouTube tutorials on topics which I want to learn more about (like data science or system design). I gave the hour long video URL to brainy and asked it to summarize the topic and ask follow up questions to accelerate my learning. Relevant timestamps in the answers were the cherry on top!
I wish I had found this app sooner during my grad day. Would have finished studying in no time :)

A useful learning companion
Being a lifelong learner, I've tried my fair share of educational tools, and Brainy is a recent addition that truly stands out. If only it had been available during my earlier years, it would have been a game-changer for students like me. Its main feature is its effortless lecture and conversation recording, followed by automatic transcription into notes. This has freed me from rushed and messy note-taking, allowing me to focus entirely on the content at hand. But Brainy doesn't stop there. Its flashcard feature takes learning is cool. Amazing notes taking capability and user friendly
I have been using this app from a while for live lectures to recorded video. It acts as a second brain so I don’t miss out any details and it can make notes automatically while I am doing something else.
Pros
1. Accurate notes taking even with different accents it catches all the words accurately
2. Automatic flash cards generator
3. Query function- you can ask any question from the notes and it gives out a reply from your notes and can relate to different notes as well.
4. Most important “Easy to use”
Cons -
Sometime in recorded lectures I can go to sleep and can stop taking notes. Not sure if it’s the app or my device issue.

Quick summary of conversations and lectures
App is great to record and summarize lectures, ideas, and conversations. The memory query feature is a chatbot to query into the recordings, extract relevant info from the summaries as well as gather info from external sources relevant to the topic. I’m hoping to utilize it more as this feature evolves over time.

A very well designed app for students and people in academics.
Kind of like my personal chatgpt but smarter
I’m using brainy since a week and found it helpful to be able to log the notes where I didn’t have do much but record sessions. It automatically generated summary and flashcards for me which I can use anytime to revise the topic.

Well designed
I like the application. It generated a summary very quick and almost accurate. I also like the flash card and query your memory here features and it gives around 90% of accuracy from the recording.
Simplify learning
I recently tried out Brainy app. It records lectures and gives you short summaries. As a student, I found it really helpful for improving my learning experience. With just a few taps, I could capture my classes in great quality. So I didn’t have to worry about missing anything important. The app also divides the notes into different parts, making it simple to find specific topics I wanted to revisit.

I really love this. I am using this app from few weeks. It generate the short note and flash cards with image that help me a lot to revise quickly. Also, the summary of the lecture help to go into the details which I missed during the class.
