I’ve been a long-time fan of the original Brave Frontier, and honestly, I really miss the classic gameplay and battle system that made it special. The old game had a unique charm from the tactical turn-based battles to the sense of adventure that kept players coming back.
This new version feels completely different, almost like a spin-off rather than a true continuation. The summoning system makes it extremely difficult to even get the starter characters, and overall, the gameplay feels unbalanced and less rewarding.
I genuinely hope the team considers bringing back the original Brave Frontier experience the one that focused on strategy, storytelling, and the excitement of exploration. That’s the game fans fell in love with.
Please consider reviving or remastering the original Brave Frontier. It deserves a proper return.

I was so excited when I saw BF was coming back. I downloaded it. Got to play for literally one day, the next days said it was concluded. I LOVED the OG BF and want it to come back. Very disappointed that this wasn’t the same and that it’s no longer available.

There was no better mobile game in my opinion from the raids to wide range of characters I find myself downloading games like marvel strike force or dragon ball dokkan and none of them hit like BF1. Every character had lore behind them. Upgrading was accessible wothout hitting pay walls just perfect

Ah Gumi…How high you used to be until you crashed and burned until not ash remained. Onto the review proper it’s a very PTW ‘TCG’ where cards can get upgraded for better stats. Obviously this means the fatter whale has the better chances of winning all the time with a rate in the .05% for the legendary super upgrade that it’s downright amusingly bad. Not only has Gumi killed NEARLY all their IPS which filled a specific niche, they killed classic brave frontier only to parade its dead corpse as a NFT gacha that has revived basically no real expansions at all. Do not support this, do not get this sad excuse of a legacy killer.

I use to play the old BF and it was really good, this one could’ve been good but the system is based on P2W so I’ll not give this game any attention. Sadly this franchise goes in the wrong way.
Old BF1 better

Impossible to be FTP
The game is fun but as a free to play player it is literally impossible to scrape together gems to open packs. And when you do get enough to open packs you get nothing useful
Disconnecting Issues
This game has serious disconnection issues in Arena battles, opponents take advantage of this and you automatically lose the match, Fix your damn game gumi!!!
