Use Brave app

This is extension is a great workaround to making Brave Search the default search engine in Safari. If you need to use Safari for some reason, then this is a great option. Alternatively, I’d just say download the real Brave app. It is far superior to Safari, has better privacy and has Brave Search built in by default.

When you use this Braver extension, your query still passes to the default Safari search engine before being intercepted and redirected to Brave Search. In theory, there is some privacy loss there.

I’d say just use Brave 🤷
