Break is Good/Marginally better than Schoolloop
Can you add the option for us to look at when assignments were assigned and when they are due?
App resets schooloop password.
Logged in to schooloop account. App says it doesn’t exist. I retry for several times . Now schooloop says my password has been reset and I can’t even access my email to change it. App needs more development and privacy changes. Won’t even show on AppStore.
Awesome App!
I used Break for almost 3 years and it was miles better than the official school loop app. I graduated back in June 2021, so unfortunately I have no need for Break anymore. Loved the ability to see how badly I could “afford” to do on tests if I was too lazy to study. Thank you to Saagar from a fellow Bay Area brown boy for creating such an amazing, easy to use app.

A few suggestions
I know that has not recently been updated, but I really hope that it will get updated. If it were to be updated any time soon, a couple nice things to add would be widgets, and a better design. Besides that, this app is really helpful for school and has a better design than the official app.
AMAZING APP!!!
I was recommended this app by a friend and it is AMAZING!!! It does exactly what he told me it did and was what I needed. It’s also much easier than putting all my assignments into an excel file and doing the calculations myself. Although you can see if an assignment affects your grade, it doesn’t show by how much and caused me to either write the original grade down or look in the main schoolloop app.

harry potter photos on POINT
the app itself is amazing i loved using it when my district was using schoolloop, but more than that, the photos are based on harry potter and everything there is ON POINT with the book... movie watchers wont understand half of it but for the core potter fans, i gotta say they nailed it!!

Good alternative, still flawed
Ever since my old schoolloop app kept crashing during every use, I have been using this one. The best part about break is it gives you the ability to alter your grades to see exactly how certain assignments will impact your grade. However, my main concern with this app is that the “locker” feature seems to be broken. Instead of being able to open any of my teachers’ files, I am faced with a screen full of unresponsive documents. Additionally, this app is unable to send loop mail, so I find myself resorting to the official schoolloop website in times of desperation. Overall, this is a very convenient app if you just want to see your grades. I hope future updates will fix these missing features so Break can definitively be the better alternative for students.

I did not get a chance to try out this awesome looking app because my school does not show up on it! For every one of my other classmates our high school shows up when you type in the name, but mine just doesn’t.

BEST APP EVER!
The grade changing really helps me plan out what I have do to get an A, but the best thing is the ability to see your grades! My teachers only show letter grades, but this showed me my percentages, and it helped me a lot.
Great app but with problems
Nice app but the graphic is still inferior to the actual school loop app and I also can’t access locker, which is frustrating because it’s the sole reason why I downloaded this app.
Great Apple Watch app!
I downloaded break so I could have my assignments on my Apple Watch. It's much more convenient and my whole schedule is on my wrist! Great mobile and watch app

I just got this app, and I think it is going to be a lot better than the regular school loop app. One small thing that could be fixed is to make everything easier to read. For example, the regular app uses gray text instead of black for the less important parts. When I’m reading my list of courses, I don’t really need to know which teacher is teaching the class, so that part can be less obvious. Then the other more important parts would pop out more. Again, looking forward to using this app.

This app is really good, especially because you can access your locker from the app.
Better than official app, missing some details
I do think that this is much better than schoolloop's app, but assignments don't list how many points they are worth nor what weighting category they are in. A killer feature would be to add a button on a current assignment to let you theoretically see how it would affect your grade, letting the user input a number of points given and all of that.
Also, color bars for classes are slightly too thin for my taste, maybe widen them a bit. :)
