About
Which breaker controls that outlet? Find it, save it, and know next time.
BreakerMap combines a charging-power alert with a searchable electrical panel directory. Plug your iPhone or iPad into an outlet using a wired charger, keep the app open, and switch breakers one at a time only when it is safe to interrupt power. When the device reports charging loss, a repeating alert can help you identify a candidate breaker. Check the charger and confirm the change before recording it. Restore power only when safe, choose its number, and save the outlet to your map.
OBSERVE CHARGING CHANGES
• Preview your alert before you begin.
• See the device’s reported charging connection, loss, and restoration.
• Choose Alarm, Bell, Beep, or Voice, with optional haptics.
MAKE YOUR PANEL MAKE SENSE
• Record breaker numbers, amperage, circuit types, rooms, and devices.
• Organize single-pole and double-pole breakers, spare positions, and unused spaces.
• Add names, notes, and photos so the details are easy to recognize.
• Keep multiple properties and panels organized in one place.
LOOK IT UP IN SECONDS
• Search by room, appliance, outlet label, breaker number, or note.
• Switch between the visual panel map and a view grouped by room.
• Export a printable PDF directory for your panel door.
• Export your saved records and photos as JSON. Import is not available in this version.
ON IPAD AND APPLE WATCH
• Browse your panel and circuit details side by side in wider iPad layouts.
• See current test status on the Apple Watch paired with your iPhone.
• Receive wrist taps for reported charging loss while the Watch app is active and connected.
Keep both apps open during a test. Watch alerts are not guaranteed while inactive or disconnected; iPad tests do not connect to Apple Watch.
YOUR HOME. YOUR DATA.
Core features work offline. No account, advertising, or analytics service. Your map and photos are stored locally on your device. Start with an empty panel and add your own records. The optional Watch companion receives only current test information from your paired iPhone; saved maps do not sync between devices. Light and dark appearances keep everything comfortable to read.
BEFORE YOU START
Use a wired charger plugged directly into the outlet. Keep BreakerMap open and your device unlocked during a test. Turn up the media volume and preview the sound to make sure you can hear it from your panel. Battery packs and chargers with backup power can hide a loss of outlet power.
BreakerMap reads charging status, not voltage. A loose cable or charger problem can mimic power loss; alerts can be delayed or missed. An alert, silence, or saved label never proves wiring is safe. Do not remove covers, touch wiring, or interrupt medical or other critical equipment. Before electrical work, a qualified person must verify the actual circuit with appropriate test equipment.
