App hasn’t been updated in 4 years, subscription service is mediocre and customer service is extremely unprofessional to it’s paying customers
All about who you know
The app and the basis behind it is quite a great idea. Unfortunately, the app is incredibly overpriced for what it is. I would submit multiple events and they were never shared. One would finally show up an hour later and was credited to another user. I truly believe it’s all about who’s friends with who is running the office. Some emergency service departments get ALL of their basic calls shared. Others NEVER are seen. Just not a even smooth playing ground. Was glad to cancel the app. Worth the refund.

Buggy App
App crashes regularly making it difficult to review the incidents.
App consistently Crashes
When using the app it consistently crashes, forcing a restart. You then have to search out the incident you were reviewing and start over.

There are a lot of specific options that are selectable which is awesome. Notification are quick and to the point. The two things that keep it from a 5 star rating for me is how difficult it is to change settings, needing to remember your unique log in and logging in to a web browser. Also, I love the feature of getting notified when anywhere in the country goes over a 3rd alarm, however I would love the option to unfollow or mute notifications from an incident. The whole reason I’m writing this review now is because to the 100th time there is an incident in NJ that someone keeps posting useless photos of. Every 30 seconds I’m getting a notification of new media posted and it’s just a picture of a plume of smoke a mile away

Update pushed out and it was great until..
The new refresh was a great improvement until BNN pushed out an update and its back to being the crappy BNN that we have now.

Stopped working
This app has completely shut down. Not one single notification in over a week.
Better
Latest version is good. Need to fix the app so thar if u dont choose to see notifications from the text groups that they dont show up as a bubble on the BNN icon. I dont care about people chatting about things in NJ, I want to see a red bubble when I've missed a notification in my area.

New app is a little better since it supports the X series of iPhone but the sounds are TERRIBLE and I don’t see a way to share an incident via SMS without taking a screen shot. If given the option I think I would go back to the old version.
Great new app. Chat needs a rethink
Love the app, but I can’t stop all the chat notifications, I don’t mind reading the chat just don’t need a banner notification each time.

App has not had a lot of updates in awhile. Some things I would like to see:

Latest iPhone support (iPhone X+)
Ability to change subscription areas on fly
Better searching of past incidents
Why is Chat greyed Out?
I personally get weather from other apps. I don’t want weather here too.
UI remains old and antiquated. Update it.

App needs a major update
App desperately needs an update to support iPhone X/S/Max and an overhaul of options that make the app more usable such as notification tuning within the app.
Needs improvement
The app is definitely so much better than receiving text messages. The only thing I would change it being able to change your subscription settings from the app. It's not easy doing it from the webpage on my phone. There should be a mobile friendly version to add and remove what we are subscribed to.

Something happened
All of a sudden, the notifications badge keeps saying dozens of unread messages every few minutes
New update
Thank you for the new update. App is working much smoother now and responsive to opening individual incidents now.
