Terrible.

Tried to scam me. DO NOT BUY.

Good app but NOT FREE

I downloaded this app to help me play Breath of the Wild, but when I opened the map, all I saw was the map with shrines and towers and all that. I was excited to see the quests and recipes and stuff, but literally EVERYTHING (no exaggeration) was under a “locked” tab. When I clicked on it, it said that I had to get the subscription in order to access it, like what? Don’t make the app free if you’re just gonna lock everything behind a subscription. Don’t download unless you’re prepared to pay a lot of money, you can just use a website for this stuff for free.

Payment makes it worse

Good reference map though.

2nd Review After 1yr or so

Who honestly has supernumerary in their vocabulary like I had to search that up just to know on korok #143 that I have to remove the extra apples.
But honestly it’s easier to just look for the shrines on the app than go looking in the game myself. BOTW is much easier when I have an app that has every piece of information I need.

Fantastic

I have bee searching all over hyrule for shrines and I could not seem to find them. This does a great job at finding everything. This thing labels shrines, koroks, chests, monsters, and everything in between. This is a great app and has helped me conquer more of hyrule than I ever thought possible. Would recommend

Kinda good

It helped me a lot when I played a year ago but this year when I got back into BOTW I tried to go onto this app and I already updated it but it won’t let me enter it

John

You had to pay a little bit of money for it so I’m not fully for that but I already found two chloroxine in the first 20 minutes so that’s not that bad

Ads

There’s literally an ad every 30 seconds your on this app

Helped me beat BOTW

I thank you developers for making this app. It has helped me beat the game completely for the first time! I highly recommend this app!

Visual Guide

Incredible!!

Not Great

I already spent 10 bucks to get the switch 2 version on mg switch. I don’t want to pay to get half the features. If you don’t pay you get a pixilated map that looks like someone spent 30 minutes on. Not impressed.

5 Stars

Breath Companion is great, but no one is tracking koroks with this, but it’s nice that it’s an option. Tears Companion is even more ridiculous when it comes to koroks. But it’s good for tracking the shrines I have and don’t have, where materials are, and where monsters are so I can avoid them. I can even see the requirements for shrines and quests. I can use pins like on the Sheikah Slate to mark places I want to go. The whole issue with tracking koroks is the description of the korok. It describes what to do to get the korok, and a general location. But multiple koroks in that area might be basically the same. At least they have numbers and you can look at them on the map. #1 is the only one I know. It’s that very first one you encounter on the Great Plateau where you jump into the little ring of lilies. You can see treasure which is another pain when doing in the checklist menu, and all the books. There’s a subscription to get the Age of Calamity map, recipes, etc. In general, this is a good app if you want the least amount of spoils about the game while being able to have a little checklist to see how far you are into the game without having to beat the game to see the percentage. BOTW will always be the better game, so you TOTK lovers can go deal with 100 more koroks than us.
