About

Breathe is a breathing app stripped to its essence. No account. No streaks. No library of content to work through. You pick a technique, press start, and breathe. A single circle expands as you inhale, holds as you hold, and contracts as you exhale — a calm, organic rhythm to follow with open eyes. Or close them: gentle haptic pulses rise on the inhale and fall on the exhale, so you can breathe with the phone simply resting in your hand. FOUR TECHNIQUES, CAREFULLY CHOSEN • Box Breathing (4-4-4-4) — focus, before stress • 4-7-8 — falling asleep, calming down • Coherent (5.5-5.5) — HRV, daily balance • Extended Exhale (4-6) — quick relief, on the go MADE TO GET OUT OF THE WAY • One screen. No menus, no onboarding, nothing to learn. • Choose 1 to 60 minutes, or tap a quick preset. • Optional breath sounds — real recordings, off by default. • Haptic guidance you can turn off any time. • Your last technique and settings are simply remembered. YOURS, ONCE A one-time purchase. No subscription, no in-app purchases — all future updates included. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No tracking. No analytics. Nothing leaves your phone. FROM THE STUDIO BEHIND ZAZEN — MEDITATION TIMER The same quiet, hand-crafted design — a different tool. If you know Zazen, you'll feel at home; if you don't, all you need is your breath. A FEW NOTES • For the full haptic and sound guidance, keep your display on during a session — Breathe keeps it awake for you. If you lock the screen by hand, the guidance rests until you come back. • New to 4-7-8? Sit down for your first sessions. The longer holds can feel a little light-headed at first — that eases as you settle into the rhythm. Breathe is a wellness and relaxation app, not a medical device, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
