About

Stay in the conversation. Let Brevia keep the details. Decisions in a meeting. Details in an interview. Ideas in a lecture. Turn your iPhone into a recording notebook, capture the moments that matter, and return to them when you are ready. RECORD ANYWHERE, EVEN OFFLINE Start recording without an account or a connected computer. Pause and resume as needed, with the original audio saved on your phone. KEEP YOUR NOTES WITH THE MOMENT Add notes and timestamped highlights while you record. Give decisions, questions and ideas a place in the conversation, so you can find them again during playback. RECORD ON IPHONE. TRANSCRIBE ON YOUR COMPUTER. Connect your iPhone and a computer running Brevia to the same local network. Scan the pairing code or enter the pairing details, then approve the connection on your computer. Your phone captures audio; your computer handles speech recognition. For recordings started on the phone, view the available transcript and notes on iPhone. You can also record offline first, then choose a computer and confirm the upload later. USE YOUR PHONE AS YOUR COMPUTER'S MICROPHONE Select your connected phone as the recording device in Brevia desktop. Control the recording and view transcripts on the computer while your phone captures audio close to the conversation. REVISIT AND SHARE Find recordings in your meeting library, listen back, and review notes and available transcripts. Export local audio or share notes and transcript text through the system share sheet. YOUR DEVICES. CLEAR DATA CHOICES. Brevia has no ads and does not automatically upload meetings to the developer. Phone-to-computer pairing and transfers use HTTPS on your local network; cross-network connections have been removed. Offline recordings upload only after you choose a computer and confirm. Live transcription sends audio to your paired computer. Optional online AI, configured on the computer, sends relevant text to your selected provider. Recording and local computer transcription work without online AI. BEFORE YOU START • iPhone recording and local playback work independently. Transcription requires a compatible Brevia desktop app and speech model. The phone does not run transcription or AI models. • Pairing and syncing require both devices on the same reachable local network. Recording can continue offline, and authorized uploads resume after reconnecting to that network. • Translation and AI features require the corresponding desktop model or service setup. • Background recording is supported, but calls, system limits or force-quitting can interrupt it. Uploads after recording may require the app to stay in the foreground. • Obtain participants' consent before recording. Uninstalling removes local phone data; export or sync it first.
