App started to crash when adjusting

Exactly what the title is. I love the app, been using for years. This bug just started happening, I test my OG after the boil and tried to adjust it in the app, when I click on OG it switches to “all grain” instead of whatever the OG was and after I type in my adjustment it crashes. Tried on my app and my father’s app, both did the same.

Where did everything go?

was a Nice app, but today it’s all gone! Years of recipes! Please restore! I’m seeing snarky messages and the app is gone.

Where have the strike volumes gone?

I go to Instructions and there are no volumes for my strike waters in a two step mash. I’m sure they used to be there . Where have they gone?

Having to use a website to do the calculations Grrr!

Units up the creek

I go to scale a recipe in L it gives me gallons in the dialogue. I re-edit my equipment defaults setting & saving metric each time. To no avail.

This needs sorting.

Love this app

I know most of these recipes are just regular guys and gals like me. But to see what others are doing and trying has really helped my own recipes

Units not consistent

One bugbear is that the units are not consistent. I’m entirely metric, the defaults are set. I choose Instructions for a recipe & everything’s in Imperial measurements.

I go to the defaults and my volumes are in gallons. I correct that, rechoose metric, go back to the recipe and nothing has changed. Had this several times now. iPhone X OS 16 point something.

Works Great.

It works perfect for my needs.

Great app

I have been using this app for about 2 years. For me the calculations have been spot on. I also like how I can organize my recipes and the a majority of ingredients are listed. It is pretty much an all in one app

THE BEST!

First of all, this app is free and that is what drew me In. I love being able to formulate new ideas In this app and it doesn’t cost me a penny. I also love the quick calculators just for reference. This app is way more user friendly than Beersmith (which is also a great app) but I prefer this one more. Cheers

Wish I didn’t update

Liked the old interface better, and now there are ads.

Nice app, but…

Am I missing something? Like how to print a recipe?

Response from developer

Thanks for downloading! To view brew day instructions you can tap on the recipe then Options>Instructions. If you'd like to print out physical instructions you can export XML and print from there. Let us know if you're missing anything else. Cheers, The Brew Cloud Team

Brew types

This app is for Beer types, would be more appealing to more if you add wines and mead (wine) to the types?

Unusable

Basic functionality is broken. I don’t see what role this app was designed to fill.

Update: the bug with abv, ibu, og values not updating correctly from default beer style looks fixed.
I still don’t see a use for this app apart from being a basic recipe book. The functionality for creating a batch seems limited to recording gravity and temp over time, and changing status from ‘Fermenting” to “Completed”. If the intent is to make recipes that match BJCP beer styles, then at least keep the style abv, ibu, etc values along side the calculated values as you add ingredients. Other apps do this, and point out how far away you are from style.

Lots of potential but needs work.

A fine recipe keeper, but sadly not much more. And I feel this app has so much potential.

To the developers: You’re getting closer.

Homebrewers really need a good, reliable, intuitive, easy to use and customizable, mobile, brew day app. You guys obviously know how to create a good mobile app but are you really brewers? If you are, please don’t give up on this.

Great Tool

I utilize this app for every brew day and beer I create. Gives me the opportunity to adjust and tweak ingredients to get the hopeful outcome I am looking for.

Would do 5, but...

Really like the app but when you go to select what kind of method you are using for brewing the beer between extract, mashing, etc. it shows a white screen and you cannot see what you are selecting. Other than that the app works well, just needs more additions of ingredients.

Keeps getting better and better.

Always looking forward to updates. Something new every time.

Super easy to use

Fast, simple, and clear. So much cleaner than Brewers Friend.

Needs a scaling option eventually. Also, would be nice to have a option to convert recipes between IMP to Metric, but I don’t imagine it being a popular request.

Nice app

There are a few quirks (what is decoction as a heat source, anyway? :^), but there is many great things about this app!

No Water Chemistry

The pictures show a water chemistry feature, there is none.
Deleted as soon as I saw that.
