Loved ghich pich!
Easy to use, great to watch
I'm not someone who writes reviews but felt I had to for this one. Got my father onto Brew last month, he's in his late sixties, not very tech-savvy, and I expected to spend an hour troubleshooting but the app is user-friendly. The films have range that caters to every generation.

Good Collection of films
Found some films here, I really wanted to watch and couldn’t find anywhere else!!
Nice attempt, poorly executed
I was very happy when I first chanced upon this new platform, because the curated titles seemed very well-thought-out. However, beyond the app crashing issues (which the team seems to be trying to address), there are a few other problems. Pretty much any film I click on turns out unavailable in my country (India). If I can’t watch it, why showcase it front-and-centre on my screen? It’s very frustrating, as I don’t really know how many of the tens of titles I see floating around are actually available to me. Also, the app can’t seem to sync across devices. I created my account using my phone number; now it won’t let me add my email ID. Too much hassle, so for now, I’ll just stick to MUBI.

Great content quality, but occasional crashes break the immersion
The films themselves are excellent and feel thoughtfully selected. I did run into a couple of crashes when switching between apps and coming back. It’s not frequent, but noticeable enough that I hope future updates improve stability.
Good app for discovering independent movies
I downloaded Brew after a friend recommended to watch Ghich Pich on it, and I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy the browsing experience this much. The app feels calm and curated instead of pushing random content. Streaming is smooth most of the time, though the first few seconds take a bit longer to load on mobile data. Once it starts, playback is stable.
