Enjoying the game, but is the point to achieve the lowest score or the highest because once the arrowless blocks have gone, the game finishes?

Persistent sticky blocks at level 55

I had left a previous review citing sticky blocks as a slight issue, but they are now persistent. Blocks that should separate as per the arrows direction, do not, and a game is ruined as it stays there, forcing you to abandon the game. I just had to at level 55, so if that’s what continually happens in this game as I have seen, then I can’t play it. Sadly deleted.
