Useless for capturing your CPE
If you want to use the app to collect CPE points, you are wasting your time. The app doesn’t reliably track that you have viewed the content so when you
download the viewing certificate it says that you have only viewed 1 minute of the content.

Unusable.
I cannot use the app without opting in to selling my information. Not touching this app again with a ten foot pole.
No CPE credits
Used to be a great app, but recent changes now only award you 1 minute of viewing time on the certificate. Much better to just login using the desktop version instead of the app.
Not necessarily best for ISC2 users
Thisus a good app for watching BrightTalk seminars however for those who hope to get credit for certifications from ISC2, this app does not report you watch time so all content will show up as 1 minute watched and thus you probably won't get CPE credits.
Interface is horrible
Unable to view tabs that include your feed or watch later without going through multiple menus. Should be able to define your default opening page. This app used to work fine and the content is great if you can get it to play. Would be very good if the video started UNMUTED. Let me mute if I need to since I started the video to watch it. Currently, try to unmute and the whole video stops and won’t play on my iPad where it has worked for years. Netflix, etc. work just fine. Deleted and reinstalled the BrightTalk app to no avail. Suspect this is unique to the iPad version of the app since it works fine on the web. UPDATE: Tested this app on a second iPad and again both had all the latest patches and updates with no VPN on and the unmute issue and playback controls did not work on either iPad. Please fix/update the app.

Terrible functionality
Favorites don't sync between devices. Downloads become corrupt. Airplay? Maybe it will work, maybe it won't. Same with screen mirroring. If you want to watch a single Webinar locally on a single device from beginning to end in one sitting, you're OK. But forget about any functionality.
Video is totally broken
Even if you download the video, you can scrub forward is play at a faster speed without the video freezing

Search and Settings options do not work. How can an app with so much content be released without a functioning search facility? Very poor
Can not Login
I can log into the website fine, but not this app. I reset my password and can still log into only the web site. If I select join from the app, it recognizes that the email is already registered.
Brilliant app
I downloaded the app and have already downloaded a number of webinars to watch on my phone on journey to work tomorrow. Everything works perfectly for me.

The new update is horrible. I cannot see my feed now. Please revert to the older version .
Nice but needs playback speed adjustments
Can you please add ability to change the playback speed? One of the best podcast apps I have used has a + and - sign to change speed by .1 increments.
I do not believe I am alone in wanting to listen to content at a faster rate.

What a shame for a great website, this app is crap.
Crash after crash
Keeps crashing, totally disappointed.
Use your browser
The app requires you to register with your email (something I thought Apple did not allow apps to require). After doing so the app does nothing more than open their list of webinars in a browser. Instead of loading the app, just go to their website via Safari because that is all you have after loading the app.

Great content, Lousy app
I love the content from Brighttalk, however the app has serious flaws and has not been updated in more than a year, so there does not appear to be much commitment to improve the app from the vendor.
No searching for content within the app, doesn't support landscape mode in many areas, not nearly as convenient as using the website from Safari, so what is the point of the app other than being able (to laboriously) download content for offline playback?
Add search functions, support full landscape mode so we aren't switching back & forth, support & update the app regularly, and then it will be useful.

Thank you for your feedback, originally this app was conceived as a companion app for our website -we will be adding search and there is a full UX update planned that should address your concerns.
