Great for families and roommates
My partner and I have been using this for years to sync our shopping list(s) for around 7 years. When my kids are old enough to have phones they will be synced in as well. The paid version is so cheap and works seamlessly. I can’t think of any complaints. It automatically categorizes everything for you but gives you the option to change categories. You can customize the order in which it displays categories, which is great for tailoring for your specific grocery store to make shopping faster and easier. Everything is customizable but not over-complicated. I’m hesitant to make any recommendations but if there’s anything that could be added, I think it would be good if instead of the “inspiration” section, it was a “frequent items” section that made it easy to see and add my most common items. That said, I love this app, I’m thankful for it being consistent, simple, and fun to use.

Had it for Years and absolutely Love it.
I have ad this app for a number of years and absolutely Love it. I have found it has only gotten better with each update. Not only does it help for events and food planning it helps with the different store organization if you want that.
If I had to ask for one thing it would be to be able to add my own categories. For my family we choose dinners we want for the week and add them to the list for our weekly groceries. Being able to call those things Dinner would be great, instead of Own Items.
Thanks for the app. I have tried others and always found them lacking in comparison to this one.

Best app ever
I don’t know why it took us as a family so long to get an app for shopping! My husband literally works in tech start-ups. But don’t get me started on that. Anyway, eventually I insisted we get rid of the list from the fridge and do something better. To be fair, I think it was my husband that chose this app in the end after much prodding . Anyway it’s brilliant. It’s changed our lives. I cannot ever go back to the fridge and paper. I don’t know why it took so long. Hard recommend.

I’ll give it a fair rating
I like using Siri in the apps because it’s convenient. This app claims you can tell Siri to add an item to your list. Well that is not the case because I tried several times for Siri to add specific items and I have to go through a series of pop-ups and it still doesn’t do it.
Nice app - rubbish support
This is an improvement for me on AnyList which charges for some of its features. It looks better although each item takes up a lot of screen space and an option to minimise the size would be good. On the bad side, they don’t bother to respond to support emails.

I love that I can share this app across mine and my husband’s phones and we can both add to it and we can both utilise it when we go places and can pick things up easily. I like that I can add all sorts of different types of things to the list. But the only problem for me is that the recipe suggestions are based on the northern hemisphere and I live in the southern hemisphere. It would be nice if they actually sent recipe suggestions based on where I live versus where they started the app. Because it’s the winter months right now for me and being given salad suggestions isn’t really appropriate.

Two issues
1) “Recently used” part loses items over time. Which means, I can't just go through it and figure out which items I'm in need of, I need to think of everything else. 2) “Inspiration” section is useless for me, but you can't turn off the annoying red badge on the bottom.
More colours
I like the app and use it a lot . Please consider different colours for differnt purposes.

Option 3 — More enthusiastic
Love this app! It’s almost perfect. The only thing missing is a simple “undo” when an item gets deleted by accident — it happens to me often on a small phone. Or a list of recently deleted items.
Everything else is smooth, intuitive, and super helpful. Highly recommended!

Excellent app....
A very useful and easy-to-use app both for group shopping lists and for individual shopping. I love it!
Best grocery app ever
I’ve had this app for YEARS and have never had a single issue with it. It’s beyond useful and very well designed. I got my entire family to download it when I was a teenager in 2018, and we all still use it to this day. The list organization is neat and you can easily add, change, or remove items. The hand-drawn icons and banners are also very cute! I recommend it to my friends!

An excellent shopping list is now worse
I’ve been using Bring! for a number of years now. It’s straightforward, simple, and my iPad and iPhone apps are always in sync.
Unfortunately it no longer prints shopping lists. Though the print list function was rudimentary, at least it worked. In the latest update the developers describe printing as an unnecessary function.
For those of us who don’t want to pull out our iPhone when we’re shopping, a printed list is not an “unnecessary function”. In addition, for those of us with certain physical problems, it is sometimes easier to use a printed list than to have to be interacting with the phone while shopping.
So if you want an app that prints your shopping list, you need to look elsewhere.
