Used to be great. Now riddled with ads.
I used to love this app as a line dancer & instructor. Was a great way to keep track of what dances I learned & wanted to learn. Now I can’t look up a single dance or do ANYTHING without viewing an ad. Super disappointing and annoying.

i’ve never written an app review before but this app experience is so bad that i felt compelled.
i really wanted to use this app, but literally every click results in a popup ad for temu or some stupid game. it’s impossible to navigate the app when you can’t click on anything.
i can’t even delete my profile b/c the “delete account” button is specifically hidden beneath ads. i’ve tried everything.

Useful but has quirks
I love having a place to collect dances, and the app makes it easy to share among my friends. My biggest issue is dances are automatically added to my ‘learn’ list and while I can include them in the practice list I can’t figure how to shift them to ‘my dances’. Adding from that screen still dumps them in ‘learn’.
As another reviewer suggested, sorting events by region would also be helpful. I get wanting to populate a new app but being able to more easily find relevant info would be better.

Good app
I really like the app. It’s a lot easier to keep track of the dances I know instead of writing them out! Along with finding the steps and videos a lot quicker! But one thing I wish is that for venue you could automatically filter it by your location and not have to manually filtering it or having a boat load of different places no where near where you live.
One big rec for the developer to is that they should see about teaming up with the website dance factorial because it has an amazing map of a lot of venues that he knows of.

I LOVE THIS APP
First off, I love this app for what it has done for me as a line dance instructor. It helps me reference step sheets on the fly if I’m unsure of a dance step. I’ve encouraged all my dancers to utilize the app to create a more knowledgeable community! Finding dances is super easy as well as the choreographers to find the right dance. One thing I’ve noticed is that there’s no way to view what other dancers have learned so that would be fun to have. Thank you for this app! I will continually share it with new and experienced dancers alike!

I think this is honestly an awesome app! I found line dancing when I was down in Norfolk Va. and it’s been hard to find a good one now that I’m back home. But this app is amazing! The only reason I give it 4 out of 5 is because I wish it would help you narrow down the location. So allow current location or only show places that are near year. Instead of seeing Va, Pa, MD, FL. And can’t filter by state or something.

It’s nice to not have to keep all my line dances in my notes app anymore lol, but I don’t know how to delete dances that you’ve added to your dance list or how to take them off the learn list.
