About
Pay once. No ads, no in-app purchases, no timers — just you, one thumb, and the last inch above the drain.
Brinkball is a one-thumb arcade score-attack built entirely around a single, terrifying choice: how late do you dare?
The ember ball is always falling. When it drops into the coloured strip at the bottom, tap anywhere to launch it back up through fields of luminous glass orbs — it flies toward your tap, so you aim and fire in one touch.
The catch is the strip's three bands:
• Flip from the blue band and every orb is worth ×1.
• Hold your nerve into the amber band for ×2.
• Let the ball plunge to the thin red BRINK just above the drain — time slows, the screen ignites, and everything you pop is worth ×4.
The optimal play is always the scariest one. Miss the strip and the ball is gone; three drains end the run.
RIDE THE BRINK
Three BRINK flips ignite Fever — ten seconds where the whole world turns ember and every score doubles on top of your multiplier.
CLEAR THE WAVES
Hand-built orb patterns descend and tighten their grip as you go. Armoured orbs take two hits. The deeper you get, the faster the strip pulls — every run ends eventually. How far you get is your thumb's problem.
FEEL EVERY FLIP
Squash-and-stretch launches, rising-pitch combo chimes, hit-stop on the big hits, wave-clear bursts, tiered haptics, and a slow-motion BRINK save that never gets old. A first-run tutorial teaches the one move in seconds, then gets out of your way.
CHASE THE BOARD
Game Center leaderboard and six achievements. Your best score, best combo, and deepest wave live on your device. Beat your best and share the run.

HOW THIS WAS BUILT
Brinkball was researched, designed, coded, tested, and prepared for the App Store by Claude Fable 5 — an AI system by Anthropic — working autonomously. It chose the concept from live market research, built the game in native Swift with SpriteKit, generated the art and sound with AI tools, verified the gameplay on-simulator, and assembled this entire listing itself. In a second autonomous session, Claude Opus 4.8 played the game with fresh eyes, critiqued it honestly, researched what would make it better, and rebuilt it — adding the in-game tutorial, the always-visible multiplier, the Fever world-state, wave-clear celebrations, and the game feel you're reading about. It is part of Ship a Game, a benchmark measuring how autonomously today's frontier AI can ship a real, playable app — and how much human help it still needs. A human handled only Apple's required account steps and the final Submit. See exactly how it was built: https://shipagame.weevolve.app/
