Useless for families
This app is so difficult to use if you are booking for children as well as yourself. I have three kids and will only let me book and pay for swimming for one of us at a time meaning my card got blocked for repeated small payments.
Setting up linked accounts was also ridiculously confusing and time consuming.

Brio booking
Since I’ve been using this app I have been able to successfully book my aqua classes

The new app makes booking for myself and daughter impossible without going to the centre first! Useless as we can’t book so won’t be going until we can get it updated!

clumsy navigation system, feels like I’m going in circles to book. Nothing like the video in the app.

Classic Clueless Brio!
Old app used to work well and have a good social leaderboard to compare to other members. For some reason, Brio decided they needed a new app! Six months later the new app still has plenty of bugs (puts you on waiting list for classes, despite spaces available if book direct through their website).
Oh, and they have removed the social leaderboard with digital pointless badges!! Seriously, we’re not five years old.
Brio leadership really have zero commercial skills or understanding of their members. This is akin to the time they blew on £100,000’s on an interactive wall and new cafe…both rarely used and neither a key requirement for any members!

App does not function
Very difficult to navigate and doesn’t allow me to book

It’s not intuitive and it doesn’t flow.
You can easily book a gym session.
However trying to book a swim session is impossible.
Whoever designed this app needs to take a look at and then take a look in a mirror and decide wether they have done a good job.

The new Brio App
Now that things have settled down, I find using the new app very useful and easy to achieve the classes I want to do.

Why is there a Chester Pride badge? An event that is anti-women and promotes an ideology that is harmful to women and children. I use Brio to workout, not to be preached at by my local authority.

All flash no substance
New app is all flash ie stupid badges for everything. However you can’t give feed back at least via iPhone as the request for your name and email splash screen never goes away when you’ve added your detail (from inside an app you are registered with and logged in and it has all your detail already - very poor programming as no integration!)
Also there is no way in app to book HiiT sessions as they no not appear in any classes section or any other section at all.
Rather than get programmers to test your software get actual end users to test as they are the ones who actually use it and will tell you we don’t won’t kiddie school badges WE WANT TO BE ABLE TO BOOK SESSIONS WE USE!

New update is broken
I made the mistake of updating the app and now it is completely frozen. Asks for searching the name of your club and anything you put in does not get found. So I cannot see my bookings, nor make any new ones. I guess the phones will be running hot at the centre with people trying to get to their class! Please fix it….
