Does not seem to work on iOS 18 iPad Pro

App launches and then quits straight away, no updates to install etc so I am guessing this is just broken now!

Poor user interface

The magazine layout does not suit the app at all well, you are forever scrolling and zooming. Leave it for too long whilst in another app and it totally forgets where you were and sends you back to the home page. This is very annoying when you were viewing a back issue, as you then have another scrolling session to find the correct issue, before trying to locate the article you were reading.

The electronic issue seems to be an afterthought to the printed magazine. I’ve experienced much better elsewhere than this lame attempt.

Great Magazine tolook forward too

Each month gets better as an on line magazine it’s the best .
The video content is miles ahead of any other magazine and so much better to see the practical demonstrations and layouts in full video rather than still photos .I am a fan brilliant

Good app

This is a good app. I am an American fan of British mode railroads and this app is a great way to subscribe and receive this magazine without spending far too much at the newsstand for a magazine that by the time it gets to the states is at least a month old.

BRM Digital issue

Love the paper issues but thought I’d give the digital issue a try. Enjoyed it and found the bookazines very interesting too.

Mrs D

Great magazine. Great value for money and great content.

Informative and entertaining

Great magazine and enjoy the videos each month. Good layouts, great articles and inspiring layouts. Would recommend.

Great read

I use a 7+ and viewing is good. Videos are OK and informal but don’t always go into the workings of the model railways shown. The demos are good though

iPad version

When I first subscribed the videos were great. That is not the case now as my iPad will not play tube videos as before. Have to ‘tweak’ screen with fingers to get a viewable size.
Content is excellent but now considering going back to print copy as downloaded copy is now beginning to be annoying.
Have reported this but nothing done to resolve problem.
Shame as a good read each month.

Great magazine

Great content but crashes too often

Misleading

Its not free with in app purchases, not like other apps anyway.
For free all you get is a magazine reader.
To get a magazine you pay >£3 per magazine.
May as well buy in the store for that price.

Great interactive features

Excellent hobby magazine, rich interactive features put it well ahead of its competitors.

Won’t work after iOS 11 update

Was a good well produced magazine with excellent photographic reproduction and lots of back issues to access.Would have given five stars.Until that is,after the iOS 11 update and now all I get is a title screen and nothing happens.

Great

Really enjoy downloading and being able to take the magazine on the train with me.

BRM

Excellent mag, like the video presentations and the articles are well laid out and informative.

Digital editions great I can take anywhere

Great mag, stunning photos very detailed when zooming in with the digital editions

Preview has changed

Preview has changed to just show advert pages rather than content pages. Why? May as we'll buy the print version as I can at least check to see if it has anything of interest to me before I buy it. Won't bother with e-version anymore.

Great magazine but crashes all the time since update

Great magazine but crashes all the time since update

British Railway Modelling

Not the best app. You cannot download the mag you have purchased to read off line. It needs access to wifi.

British Railway Modelling

Not working for me either, bought 6 months subscription - have I wasted my money ?
