Doesn’t even “barely” work

The text on the app is the same color as the background. I’ve seen this complaint from reviews from as long ago as 2 years ago! Get it together Bryant. Thank God someone different built and designed my mini splits. Pay a developer to fix these issues.

Barely usable

Once set up it isn’t terrible, but nearly all surfaces that require you to choose something, enter text, or scan a QR code have the text and background set to the same color meaning that nothing is readable or scannable. You just have to tap around and hope for the best.

Garbage app

Almost impossible to use. The colors and fonts make it nearly impossible to discern what you are typing / clicking. I beg you Bryant, my brother in Christ, hire a decent UI/UX team!

Broken

This app hasn’t been updated in years, and major functionality like sharing devices is broken. It also doesn’t handle dark mode well, but at least some other functionality works in light mode. Bryant please update this app!

App works but poor interface

Looks to me like most basic functionality problems have been fixed, but now someone really needs to take a look at the user interface FROM USER’S VIEWPOINT. I am new to this, my garage mini-split was installed just two weeks ago, so not much history to report on.

The unit is at our lake home 200 miles away, so I plan to manage it 100% remotely. The iPhone app does the job but is hard to read. Somehow the developers of this app are mesmerized by use of pale colors with minimum contrast. The ultimate insult is to ‘Off’ screen where everything is washed out. As my unit will be off much of the time, the information displayed is useless unless I turn on the unit just to read the screen. But that distorts the historical data gathering, so I try not to do it.

There are better ways to make it clear that the unit is off, without blanking out the entire screen. But enough of the off page.

Most importantly, the ‘ON’ screen is also hard to read. I have to take a screen shot and expand it to read the temperature! Why hide it behind low contrast and small font? After-all, isn’t temperature sort-of the main point here?

I beg you, please make displays easier to read.

Terrible app

This app worked for a while then signed me out and wouldn’t let me sign back in. I hate this app! Not worth it.

Is this app still in development?

I struggle to even give you one star. Seriously poor interface. The text is the same color as the background so you can’t see what you type when setting up. Please fix this. How do add users? Obviously more than one family member needs access to the app.

Goes Offline constantly

The unit will not hold on line status, average time frame is one -two days for the unit to go offline . This is very inconvenient when using for a vacation home that requires me to travel to reboot the unit . This has been happening for 3 years with no app improvement by Bryant . Time to replace .

Needs updating

Logs out frequently & doesn’t have Face ID.

Yuck

Every few weeks I loose my Wi-Fi connection and have to go through the whole gammit to get it back online. Not a Wi-Fi connection problem, because everything else stays connected. Just look at the ratings and see the last update B4 you buy.

Works, but missing functionality

I was excited to have app based control of my AC. Unfortunately the app doesn't have FaceID integration, logs out every time the app is closed, it logs you out. There is no Alexa, HomeKit, or Google Home support, and the icons that aren't labeled take some interpretation to figure out. Overall - it works, but leaves a lot to be desired. Sadly the app doesn't seem to be getting updates and improvements on a regular basis either.

It’s Fine

This app gets the job done, albeit in a clumsy way. It’s not super intuitive or user-friendly but it works. Our mini-splits go “offline” at random every few weeks, which makes them disconnect from the app. A technician showed us how to disconnect and reinsert the USB kit in each unit to reset it and reconnect to the app, so… it’s annoying to deal with but we can work around it. The only thing that really bothers me about this app is that it doesn’t have an option to turn off the LED light and the beep (like the wall remotes do). We prefer the LEDs and beeps to be off in our kids’ rooms so we can control the temp without disturbing their naps (for example). But if I need to turn the units on using the app, the LEDs come on by default and they beep every time I change a setting. If I want to turn off the LED and the beeps, I have to go into each room and use the wall remote, which defeats the whole purpose of having the app. I can live with everything else, but every time I use the app I find myself wishing I could turn off the LEDs from the app!!

Yes always disconnects

Please update your app. I love my mini splits. But your control app has me so disappointed.

Always disconnects

Connected my mini split heat pump seamlessly. After one day, it constantly has the unit go offline from the WiFi and I have to re connect it to our home WiFi all over again. Also would be nice if this worked with google home.

No way to integrate it with google home or siri

No way to integrate it with google home. I’m trying to figure out how to connect this to my google home setup but I can’t figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.
