Random font size
I’d give one or two more stars if all of the fortunes were readable. Right now, the fortunes show up with random font sizes (and, no, there is no relationship between the length of the fortunes and the size of the font). Some of the fortunes literally seem to be using a 2pt font size; in other words, they’re completely unreadable…

Has to do with the width of the fortune and the screen size so the original layout of the fortune can be preserved. Thanks for the feedback.
Long Needed Update, Couple of Problems
Here's what's good about the update; it works with newer versions of iOS, and it has a widget. What's bad is it doesn't let you select text anymore, and there's no way to clear the list of fortunes (bad if you see something you don't want others to see). If those two problems were fixed, I'd give it five stars.

Needs Updating
It looks cool and I love the fortune command on UNIX systems. But I gave this app one star for only one straight forward reason. It crashes upon launch on iOS 9.2.2. It it gets updated I'll gladly revaluate it.
Doesn't work on IOS 9
This worked prior to ios 9 update.
