Mumford and Sons festival at Hyde Park.
My daughter and I flew from Las Vegas, Nevada to see Mumford and Sons for our 4th of July celebration 😂. I have to say, of all the festivals I’ve attended, they could learn a great deal from Hyde park. The giant screens were so Crystal clear, we felt like we were on the rail watching them. The sound was amazing! The bathrooms were not port-a-potties but very large , very clean indoor bathroom. With sinks and mirrors. Attendants were great. Yes, I know, we say bathrooms, you say toilets🤣. There were multiple venues for food, drinks and even sunscreen stations, which I really appreciated. Tables with umbrellas were great! I am spoiled now. Our festival venues will never compare. Thank you for a great experience and memories!

Well organised and presented
Credit to the organisers and sponsors for an excellently organised and presented event. From free drinking water stations to toilets cleanliness to recycling bins. There were lots of areas to seat down to rest your fatigue legs.

Duran Duran BST
An amazing day at BST. First time experience at BST. Came to see Duran Duran. Made use of the BA members area. VIP Hyde Away tickets were great as the facilities were very good. Gold Circle was a fab viewing area. Support acts were good and had the crowd dancing…and Duran Duran were The Best.

Doesn’t stay logged in
Unfortunately lacks the ability to keep you logged in. Which is pretty annoying when it’s the only way to access tickets. I logged in about 3 hours before i arrived as i knew mobile signal at the venue would be awful, but it had already logged me out again by the time i arrived. Struggled for 10 minutes but eventually managed to get logged in again, we were one of the lucky ones. Lots of people ended up having to go to the box office and pick up paper tickets.

Why force us to install this
I just wanted to attend a concert, it felt like I had no choice but to install this very poor app, login again from there to simply access my tickets. User experience is a disaster.
Bad communication
Tickets don’t match what the gates say. Venue is already half an hour late opening at this stage and still waiting.. absolutely no communication form venue or app ..

Terrible user experience
Told to download app and view tickets because poor wi fi likely in Hyde Park but to access the app you need wi fi and ticket we updates every sixty seconds so no screenshot. Also no download to wallet . After spending so much money I hope we get in on the day. Doubt any customer support prior

Too much bass on Old Oak Stage
I really wanted to hear Niama Bock. The sound was OK when it was just her voice and guitar but when the rest of the band joined in the bass and drums were overwhelming and painful. I had to leave. FYI I go to a lot of gigs and festivals and I expected a lot better from BST and was very disappointed not to be able to listen to an artist I’d been looking forward to catching live.

Is my data safe?
The purchasing of tickets for Hyde park involves one app to buy them, a second to access them and a third to share them with family. All along the way there are details about how the apps will be burrowing through phone data, other apps and personal info There have been huge hacking scandals in retail sector recently. This leaves one open to too many avenues of access
