BTdual
As for audio listening and play along. Very slight lag. It’s BT so expected. Only noticeable with apps like Songsterr. Easily adjusted for. However, BTS app takes some time to communicate back and forth. Borderline, don’t want to use it. No other option though. Btw, version 1.04. I like the poly tune. 🤘

Scandalous
Bluetooth connectivity is one of the features that drew me to the GX-10. It’s already greedy beyond measure to make you pay $50 for an adaptor in order to use this feature. However, this app’s uselessness adds insult to injury. The connection is EXTREMELY slow (any change takes almost a minute to be transmitted) and playback works very spottingly. I have an iPhone 16, for what it’s worth. Shame on Boss

Too slow to be of any use and no landscape view
Apart from pairing issues and having to go through the Bluetooth connection faff every time when most Bluetooth devices seem to be able to remember each other these days, I don't know how anybody could possibly use this app in a live situation.
I couldn't believe how long it took from connecting via Bluetooth to actually get to the user interface, so I timed it - 47 seconds! I then attempted to have a look around the app and clicked Librarian and then GX-10 USER MEMORY DATA and after five minutes of watching the logo animation, gave up. I thought, maybe I need to log in but there was no way back but to quit the app and start all over again - which required re-pairing the device and waiting another 47 seconds. I signed in and tried again but the Librarian never loaded even after I left it animating and went to have something to eat. When I came back, the GX-10 had auto-powered off as it was clearly sick of waiting.
I don't know what is at fault but having paid £40 for the Boss MIDI DUAL Bluetooth adapter, I feel like I have wasted my money for a system that is simply of no use whatsoever and actually questioning the wisdom of buying the GX-10 given that the functionality that I expected simply did not exist.
Added to that, why is the app in portrait mode when just about every other music app can be used in landscape mode thus requiring the device to be re-oriented if using more than one app at a time.
Does anybody at Roland Boss care about the issues that are seemingly ubiquitous?

Won’t connect to phone
Bluetooth device won’t find app seems broken
Very Buggy
Cumbersome to get paired to iPhone, but the biggest issue is the delay when switching between patches in the App- the GX10 changes in 1-2 secs but then the app spends 30-40 seconds showing the pulsing Boss icon and doing nothing before finally displaying the new patch. Hopefully will be fixed in an update..
