About

ONE-THUMB ARCADE ZEN Not a bubble shooter. Nothing to aim, nothing to match, no board to clear. Just a screen that keeps filling and one thumb to keep up with it. Bubbles drift up from the bottom of the screen. Tap to pop them before they slip away off the top. Miss five and the run ends. Easy to start — hard to put down. Every pop builds a combo, and every bubble type is its own instrument — a glass pluck, a gold chime, a deep boom for the giants — all tuned to one scale, so a busy screen plays like music instead of noise. TWO WAYS TO SEE IT — BOTH FREE Glass — luminous bubbles with faces, drifting up through eighteen coloured worlds. Abyss — the whole game redrawn underwater. Bubbles become bioluminescent jellyfish, the specials become sea creatures (an anglerfish, a glass squid, a nautilus, an eel, an urchin), and the eighteen worlds become eighteen depth zones. Switch whenever you like. Neither is a purchase. THREE WAYS TO PLAY Zen — can't lose. Just drift. Normal — five lives. The balanced run the game was built around. Chaos — dense, fast, relentless. Ready? POP WITH PURPOSE Watch for the specials: gold stars, giant hexagons, ghosts you can barely see, screen-clearing bombs, and lightning that chains to the three nearest bubbles. Time them right and the whole screen goes off at once. CLIMB THE BOARDS Normal and Chaos are ranked on Game Center, and the game keeps your best runs and where you stand — top 3%, top 1% — for each mode separately. Zen isn't ranked. That's the point. EIGHTEEN WORLDS TO CHASE Every bubble you have ever popped counts toward your lifetime total, and that total unlocks new worlds — eighteen in all. Three are free from the first tap. The prestige tiers (Silver, Gold, Diamond) give your bubbles a material of their own: orbiting stardust in Glass, a sculling octopus in Abyss. BUILT FOR ONE HAND, ANYWHERE Plays fully offline. No sign-up — Game Center and iCloud are both optional, and if you use them your progress follows you across your devices. One thumb, portrait, on the couch or the commute. Smooth 120 Hz play, with sound, light and haptics tuned to fire the instant you touch the glass. MADE TO BE PLAYED BY MORE PEOPLE VoiceOver labels throughout, Dynamic Type, Reduce Motion, a high-visibility mode that outlines every bubble, and a cap on how often the screen can flash. Zen has no fail state and never shrinks its bubbles past a comfortable size — it is the mode to hand to someone who has never played. Free to play, with optional in-app purchases (Remove Ads and the prestige worlds). From UpLate Garage. Made late, shipped clean.

What's New in Bubble Drift | Zen Arcade

ABYSS — A SECOND WAY TO SEE THE GAME, FREE The whole game redrawn underwater. Bubbles become bioluminescent jellyfish, the five specials become sea creatures — an anglerfish, a glass squid, a nautilus, an eel, an urchin — and the eighteen worlds become eighteen depth zones. Switch between Glass and Abyss any time in Settings. Nothing new to buy. A NEW LOOK FOR GLASS Every bubble, special and screen redrawn — exact geometry, faces on the specials, and a new icon. RETUNED PACING Normal starts livelier and runs far longer. Chaos opens dense and stays frantic instead of burning out in the first minute. Zen is nearly three times busier — it was too quiet to be a mode. HIGH VISIBILITY, FIXED The Settings toggle now outlines every bubble, not just the ghost. If you turned it on before and saw no difference, that is why. CLEARER MENUS Bigger, more readable mode cards and plainer wording. The bubble on the welcome and menu screens is now the real bubble from the game — and it pops. ALSO Best scores are kept for Normal and Chaos separately, with your standing and the mode shown on every run. Pop bursts match the colour of the bubble you popped. Buy buttons show their price. Proper iPad rotation.
