About

When you get a new bicycle, where should you go? Instead of heading to a famous tourist spot or a typical cafe, try setting a simple "coordinate intersection" as your destination. There, you will find discoveries free from any artificial intention. Concept: A Dialogue with Coordinates The Earth is covered by a grid of 1-minute latitude and longitude intervals. This app is a "tool for exploration" that lets you untie these intersections—called Knots—simply by visiting them. No physical objects or hidden containers exist. There is only a private dialogue between you and the coordinates, undisturbed by anyone. Specification: Tabula Rasa (Blank Slate) True to its name, Bucephalas Tabula Rasa is designed as a "blank slate." Every time you launch the app, your previous journey's records are cleared, and the map returns to its pristine state. By letting go of the urge to keep records, you can focus entirely on the "now" of your movement. This stoic constraint transforms ordinary scenery into something entirely different. Please Note: This is a trial version dedicated to providing a motivation for movement. If you wish to keep a permanent record of your journey and access all features, please consider the full version, "Bucephalas."

11.5.0

To ensure that the concept of this app can continue to be operated safely and sustainably, we have decided to discontinue the leaderboard feature that ranked users by the number of intersections they reached. Some latitude and longitude intersections are located in potentially dangerous areas or places that should not be entered. This decision was made with the highest priority on user safety and respect for landowners and property managers. Going forward, rather than encouraging competition with other users, we will continue to develop the app as a place to quietly enjoy your own journey and movement history, with a greater focus on personal tracking and record-keeping.
