Changing the East Village
I am an Actor, Comic, Producer, And Sketch Comedy Writer based in the East Village, New York. I attend NYU and am using my social media platform to get cash back, discounts, and helping build my network with local cafes, restaurants, clothing stores and even barbershops in the electric area I call home. I am extremely impressed with the apps fluidity and versatility as I navigate life more wisely. Im proud of all the “mom and pop” shops that have survived here for generations before me, and love this transition into the Gen-Z, “always on their phone,” market. This bridges the old with the new; I use this almost every day to refer friends, get a discount myself, or choose a better alternative to commercial chains. I even saw a HOTEL pop up on my app yesterday. Who are these people and where do they come from? I love it! My show, Top-LES comedy, will have to sell tickets through this. I am glad I found this. It’s the new “word of mouth.” Thanks to whoever started this.
