Top reviews

Useless.

Can't do recurring reminders. Totally useless for what I wanted, that's what I get for buying something off the cuff and not reading reviews first.

NOT LONG MAINTAINED - CRASHED on iOS 8.3

DO NOT PAY FOR THIS APP. NOT UPDATED SINCE 2010.
Based on a review I read, I was hoping this app would replace some of my use of the iOS Reminder Clock>Alarm, but it keeps crashing on me, and has no repeat. The app has not been updated since 2010 (my bad for not noticing that!) and the developer website no longer exists. Had it been free I probably would not have bothered to write this review, and I never like giving a low rating, but in the case I need to do it to warn others, since it is a waste of your money. It would be great if the ZZTech team updated the app so that they could keep making money on this app, but in the meantime, it is not really fair to people to pay for this app.

Hmmmm

Locked up... Going to try redownloading

The best reminder app

The best app ever. It is so easy to input my reminders that I don't have an excuse. I love all of the features. Recommend this to anyone who has ever forgotten an appointment, to pick up a present or any other errand!!

Had to return it..

App kept crashing when I'd open it and basic function *sigh*

Sigh

The concept of the app is ingenious! The only problem I have is with the performance... My phone freezes for a while after closing the app. :(

I Needed this-Love it!

I have SO many things on my plate, and this truly is a life saver.
It alerts at intervals-awesome!...runs in the background-convenient!

Thank you for making this app... seriously!

Great potential!

Good app for getting one time reminders. But if you want a daily reminder, you're out of luck. I'm sure this will be an upcoming feature . . .

Needs tons of work

Reminders are becoming completed when I haven't marked as such, push notifications don't allow for snooze, can't figure out how to set daily reminders like take vitamins.

Great idea, terrible implementation.

Incredibly useful when it works right

Update: Most of the bugs that I complained about in my original review have been fixed, but there are still two problems. First, when trying to set the time for it not to bug you at night, the times displayed are different than what you choose. For example, if I choose 10:30, bugger registers that as 10:43. It's not the end of the world, but it's pretty annoying. The other thing that seems important is to have some sort of instructions, or at least have descriptions under each of the options in the settings menu. I don't really know what the "gentle mode" does, for example, and it would be nice if a description were included. It also gives up and stops bugging me after a certain period of time, which I think should be an option in the settings menu rather than a default setting that cannot be changed. If these problems are fixed, I will definitely give the app five stars.

Original review (Jul 06, 2010): I would definitely give this app five stars if not for a few bugs (no pun intended) that make it somewhat irritating to work with. First, if the phone is asleep and a reminder (a "bug") pops up, you can't slide to unlock the phone without automatically saying that you have completed the task, thereby canceling the reminder. Second, if that happens and you go to re-activate that bug (by changing the start time to make it start again), it often causes the app to crash, and then the bug that you re-activated will suddenly pop up a whole bunch of times at once every however many minutes you had set it for. Finally, I am having the same problem as the reviewer who wrote that the time dial seems to be off by a few hours.

This is a new app, so problems are to be expected. I just hope that they are fixed soon, because I've had to stop using this otherwise incredibly useful app for the time being. My thanks to the developers for creating the app and for the time that they will (hopefully) spend addressing these glitches.

Great App for All quick reminders!

Intuitively designed, and extremely easy to use! Top ten apps I ever bought although I think I only bought ten, but all kidding aside if you're the type that needs to be reminded then this is for you!!!!

Think about it .99 cents if it reminds you to pay your credit card bill one time I'm sure it'll pay for it self 100s of tines and even once can pay for it self ten fold!!!!

Extremely handy

The app is fantastic for what it does. And this version seems to have fixed all the bugs!

Could be great if they fix bugs

This is a great idea with lots of possibilities. You set reminders of things you need to do using a date and time scroll wheel. When the time and day arrives, you get a sound reminder and the app keeps reminding you (like a snooze alarm that you can set for any interval) until you do the task and check it off. I love the idea. Unfortunately, they have a lot of bugs to work out.
Pros: well-thought out Concept.
Cons: poorly executed concept.
Suggestion: redo this from the ground up. This has possibilities but whoever did the programming needs to put in more work.

Bugger is buggy

Love the idea. I would use it daily...if…it weren't so buggy. Crashes frequently. Won't let you dismiss "bugs."

Please fix the app. Really get it running and I will happily write another review.

Also, please either give an option for writing your own "comments" for bugs or leaving them out. They can be cute, but they mostly seem unprofessional to me. I don't want work colleagues looking over at my phone when a "bug" goes off.

Please, please fix the app and polish it a bit. Great idea, intolerable execution currently.

Bugged!

This is a cool little app but its super buggy at the moment.
I'm running iOS 4.0.1 released today on a 3GS and have the latest Bugger 1.1 (I never had the 1.0 version). The below poster is correct, the app freezes a lot during editing/saving the alerts. Also, you will get bugged with alerts that pop up even after you have marked them "completed". Then there is no way to stop the alerts from coming. I wrote the developer about this hopefully we will get a fix soon otherwise I'm going to have to toss this Buggy Bugger in the Bin.

Eagerly anticipating update to fix bugs

Bugger is buggy. I like it for what it's potential is. I have only but a few tasks and those that are completed still bug me. Delays in being able to add, edit bug me.

Good program, push not working

I really like the concept of this app. Push notifications don't appear to work correctly. When I click on for push, the default forces back to off. It appears I can only get local alerts, which work correctly.

Hopefully updates will correct this and I look forward to using this app.

So simple, so effective!

I'm finding this so useful for helping me follow through on tasks not only for my own life, but for my elderly father whose memory I am supplementing, for important but minor work details that get lost in larger projects, all sorts of things. Quickly becoming indispensable! Only hiccup I'm experiencing is with the time intervals. Maybe I'm missing somethong, but it seems like there's a 3-hour time difference between the time selected on the dial and the time displayed above. Almost like an adjustment for East coast-West coast? It's rather disconcerting and either a fix or an explanation would be very helpful to smoothing the user experience. This user anyway. :-) Thanks to the developers for this very useful app and the humor that permeates the interface!

Really great app

Just what I was looking for. It's strange that this feature isn't built into todo apps.

Does as advertised

Really annoying but that's what it's supposed to do.

Very useful.
