Doesnt really work

1. Computer AI plays at about a 200 level. That wasn’t a huge problem, the goal is to play with friends.

2. We tried to play a local game via bluetooth on a plane flight - we could never get all 4 connected at once. Well we did one time, but then the clock on one board didn’t start and we couldn’t get the second board working. Another time the clock did start but the person couldn't move.

3. Okay, so 4 people didn’t work - that’s fine one of us can play two boards.

That game seemed to work, but then it ended 3 moves too early. It is not checkmate when the opponent has a piece in hand that can be interposed, a rule that this apparently doesn’t consistently apply.

Bughouse At Last!

I was thrilled to finally see a bughouse chess app, and happily surprised that it allows one to play against computer opponents. Unfortunately, the only means of adjusting computer strength is choosing either Aggresive or Tactical play. Aggresive play moves more quickly but less skillfully than the slower Tactical play setting. Not that the tactical setting is particularly skilled. Its main strategy is to move most of its pawns to the center of the board, which is a terrible strategy for any chess play, but especially so for bughouse. It would be nice not only to see the computer's bughouse strategy improved, but also to have much more adjustability of the computer's strength, as is the case on virtually every other chess app.
Also, displaying both boards simultaneously on an iphone screen makes for some pretty tiny pieces, especially with the wide margins which make the boards even smaller than they need to be. I would like the boards to be larger or to have an option to display just my board in a larger size with a toggle to see both boards when desired. It would also be nice to be able to save games.
The app is still very buggy, ALWAYS crashing after two or three games, pieces sometimes becoming invisible, and other odd issues. I hope these bugs will be addressed soon, as it is becoming quite annoying. All that withstanding, I am enjoying this app, and will continue to play it, at least until something better comes along. Kudos to the developer for bringing us bughouse. Now please fix your app.

Dumb

My pet cat could beat this program every time by randomly picking moves to play. The computer mode plays the same moves every time. It does not react to any threats, ever!

Really, Really, Really, Really FUN!!!

I love playing this bughouse app! I can play solo completely against the computer or with my friends. I play from my iPad & iPhone6. Addicting and I'm spreading the word!

Not half bad

I swear I had an idea to build a.bughouse chess app and some1 actually got it done! It's not too bad, my only problem is that there aren't enough players online for any multiplayer games to connect. PLEASE DOWNLOAD GUYS!
